Interviewed in the showers. Welcome to Notts County, Michael!
That'll be why he said his back's against the wall.

Meadow Lane has some great memories for him. Last year with Coventry one of the best nights of his career. And the year before Portsmouth getting promoted there!

However I wish him and Notts County all the best. Especially this weekend against Lincoln.

Tell him he’s not playing anymore could do it ?
But that's not forcing him out. If he was genuinely desperate to stay he could have and then fought to get his place back.

Reality is he was dropped and hasn't won his place back. Robins has then moved to bring in a better player in that position and he's now even further from the starting XI.

Like everyone on here i know f-all about what is really going on, all i can go on is what i see and hear
i’ve listened to robbo and watched him and his lackey on the touch line. To me they look and like the knuckle scraping, big stick, old school syle of management.
That, for me, iswhy the players aren’t playing with the ‘fun’ that robbo wants and why the confidence is not there.
Sounds like Doyler was a victim of the this chest beating culture.
He is exactly what we’ve needed for the past few months
Robbo has a very negative dialogue, i’m not saying he should go, although i certainly wouldn’t shed atear, but he doesn’t look or sound like the future to me.

Robins is morphing into Micky Adams as every week goes by

Don't know why this is a surprise to the players, I put on here weeks ago that doyler was going after a massive bust up with robins. I even dared BBC cwr to ask robins about it a few days after putting it on here. It's a shame he's gone and for me him and Kelly worked very well together with bayliss out wide and have Thomas on the left. We needed a striker, anybody could see that.

With Robins specifically, not Viveash?

It that is true why on earth would Robins say he'd like him back here as a coach?

From what my mate was saying, with robins. The whole coaching thing to me, looks like an attempt to stop any backlash. To be honest the whole Doyle thing over the last few weeks has been fucking ridiculous. The team have missed a leader, a mouth and physicality, all of which was sitting on one seat in the dugout

Yeah, I do agree with that, but at the same time I feel Doyle did look a yard slower and was struggling to keep up and was getting bypassed a bit.

I think he SHOULD have been on the bench, but where it went wrong is, I believe there were times when he could have been brought on and wasn't.

Do you know any more on this mate?
On the day of the transfer Doyler was doing a school visit for the club so all appeared normal
The other players who left on deadline day told the rest of the squad via group chat but most found out about Doyle like the rest of us
Only a few of his close mates in the team knew in advance of the announcement
Don't have more than that
