We seem to go through phases of the sort of player we produce. There was a time where we had loads of defenders coming through and fairly pedestrian CMs, now we seem to be pumping out number 10s, strikers and wingers instead.

More of an out and out winger than a CM/CAM isn’t he?

Only time I've seen him was in Auto Trade game earlier in the season and he was a central midfielder, and looked a good one at that. Definitely wasn't a winger on that showing.

Not sure, I got the impression he could play the Maddison role but could be mistaken.

He's been playing as a CM with the freedom to drive forward for the U23's I believe. Quite like Bayliss in the first team.
