He's fuming, it's a joke to throw it away, he wants players to have belief on the ball instead of taking extra touches that waste chances

Clive currently giving a running commentary on this sit in protest that’s happening at the moment. Comical.

He can barely commentate on a football match...

He defiantly did, always a sign of a manager crumbling when they start blaming the fans, remember Coleman and his Neanderthals comment.

He mentioned messageboards but I don't think he was blaming them, I'd need to hear it again to be sure though

He was just saying maybe they’re reading message boards and letting comments go to their heads.

So why can’t HE give them confidence? stick an arm around their shoulders and give them some encouragement, or is he the problem?

Tbf all he’s said all season is that they’re good players and will come good. I’m sure he’s trying.

Easy to say but all the players are on social media these days and even without seeking it out they have people tagging them on messages saying how shit they are. Then you have a decent chunk of the crowd just waiting for a mistake so they can hurl abuse and boo.

It's not as simple as Robins just telling them they're great.

He said some of his players are lacking belief from what they’re reading on message boards about them.

If that's true then either they should stop looking at messageboards (though I feel it might be more social media which can be aimed more directly at an individual, in which case they shouldn't bother with those platforms either). If you're that affected by fans opinion then maybe professional sport isn't for you - you can guarantee with so many fans and opinions even a team winning easily will have some whingeing about something. Even the likes of Man City, Real, Barca and Munich have elements that will complain about something and call the players shit.

By and large I find any criticism aimed at them to be justified and constructive. What do they expect fans to do - just say how great it is and how nothing is ever wrong. Part of the point of being a fan (and why they're capable of being able to call it their job and get paid for it) is to have an opinion and get annoyed when things aren't going well. If you want their adulation when you're doing well you're going to have to put up with some criticism when it's not. If you can't, then they're plenty of 9-5 jobs out there out of the public eye you can try your hand at.

Snowflakes.

To be fair he says Willis decided to listen to a shout back to the keeper, that’s not saying burge shouted that’s saying he listened to someone shout back to the keeper, also he says Willis hadn’t put a foot wrong all game but decided to listen to a shout “back to the keeper” sounds to me like he is saying Willis is at fault no matter who made the call

I was sat right behind that goal and no way burge shouted for it, he made a decision like he had to, to come out as soon as Willis tried that header, Willis at total fault from where I was sitting and he could easily have just cleared it. A lot of people on here say Willis is this and that and worried to lose him but we have all seen the costly result when a wrong decision is made when defending, no way was burge at fault for this one anyway, Willis totally fucked it up

I turned the radio off after leaving the game, when they started twatting on about a protest.

Bad enough listening on the way in, saying Corai Addai could make hime debut as Liam O'Neill was injured. Last nights phone in was bad enough, on about the big crowd for last years community day against Altringham.

If I was being paid £50k or thereabouts a year to play third tier football and routinely missed tap ins and 1v1s every week I wouldn’t be able to look myself in the mirror. We aren’t expecting our players to score worldies every week, we’re expecting them to do the absolute basics

Robins, it’s time to go. You can’t motivate, you can’t even buy a quality player with money to burn. There’s unrest in the camp, and what few quality players we do possess are looking to go.
You talk about inexperience, then loan in other teams youngsters, at the expense of our own. For the love of god man go now ffs,

If Bakafuckwit put away his sitter it would’ve made no difference. Just like JCH at Walsall or Craplin at Fleetwood
