clearly entitled to your opinion. After sitting through some proper dross down the years watching ccfc, I see this team as young, developing and still finding their feet.

Yeah they are developing into a relegation dog fight team

I have sat and watched a lot of the dross you're talking about. Investing primarily in unproven young players is going to have this very problem. We need some proven experience in there for the sake of consistency and to take the heat off. I have no desire for us to yo-yo between the 3rd and 4th tier, though some on here would be happy with getting promoted every 2 years.

Aye, let's get Darius Henderson, Peter Ramage and Hunt in...that didn't work well did it?

And I would defo take a Promotion every 2 years, League One, Championship up to the Prem, wouldn't you?

I mean players in their late 20s not donkeys in their mid 30s looking for a final payday. Yet he is busy packing any players in that category out of the club.

JCH, Ogogo, Brown, Hiwula, Chaplin, Bakayoko all signed by Robins and all shite.
Fair play to Robins for realising Ogogo and JCH were mistakes and moved them on at the first opportunity.

Bakayoko and Brown haven't played enough for me to judge yet.

Chaplin and Hiwula are very decent footballers for most that can see their qualities, just lacking the goals at present, which will defo come.

I don't, you do.

I come to the conclusion that we are some confidence off being a very good team who can more than capability challenge in this league.
Not exactly, but I do think we are a good striker away from a half-decent side.

Brown has played plenty of games, but Robins has decided he’s not upto it and would rather see an 18 year old kid at left back.

Ah ok then, the oracle on players being appalling has spoken....

Biamou, remember him?

Yes he’s appalling as well and has a reputation built on a couple of games and we are supposed to ignore the other 40

It appears two younger players have gone ahead of him in the pecking order, one a Summer signing, Mason and an Academy player in McCallum.

I believe Brown was a great coup after Shrewsbury tried to get him to re-sign a new deal after there promotion push and play-off final loss. It hasn't worked out for what ever reason, it happens, now we have competiton for left-back and I for one am very pleased.

Andreu, Ogogo,Doyle, JCH, all gone Grimmer, Davies, Brown, hardly ever playing all I’d class as senior players, Apparently Willis nearly went and the mystery signing that didn’t materialise. Is something going on ?

No-you think 1 a lifetime is OK?
No, I want more. History suggests that it's not quite as easy as might be suggested though, and for a team who were the last to come up from the bottom division last season I'd be relatively content with an uneventful season this year as it's progress, albeit stuttering.

I want next season to see further progress, I've had enough of us hitting the reset switch and going backwards to last a lifetime, I'd like us to stick with someone when it's not quite working out and give then the chance to right it. If we start seriously looking in danger of the drop or we get to the point where it looks like he's ran his course this will change, but I'm not seeing that yet.

Then all we differ on is the point where it looks like he's ran his course.

3 left backs is too many.

Ogogo and Andreu were proven experience, and probably Brown as well.
The first two have gone, we assume because they couldn't fit the style of play or shape that Robbins wants. So I'm not holding my breath.

And as for wanting promotions, or not being a Div3 / Div4 yo-yo team there are some so called supporters who would take relegation from the EFL if that got rid of the owners.

You can't please all of the "supporters"

Ogogo and Andreu struggled with fitness in their time here, not all signings will fit. But you've got to admit, packing a team with youngsters is risky for a whole host of reasons. They're not the finished article, struggle for consistency more often, have to be managed more carefully with injuries, and lack the mental resilience of more experienced pros. Is this an absolute rule no, and I don't want a team of OAPs. I just see Robins going all out with youngsters and our form getting worse with these young players 'lacking confidence'.

A blend of youth with pros in their prime, and a few wise heads, is the ideal mix. We had something close to it in 2015/16.

Yeah I think so. I can see why people are increasingly losing their rag with him, I'm just a good while away from that point yet. Could quickly change if current form persists

Warning signs were there last season and he's repeating the mistakes now. IMO he hasn't learned from his mistakes and is holding us back, but it's clearly a difference of opinion.
