The protest (31 Viewers)

I saw a picture of the protest if you can call it that. There was more stewards than fans! Sisu don't give a flying f*** about us. Waste of time. Might as well fold, get rid of sisu that way and hit the reset button.
Or, you could just fuck off and support Cov Utd now.

I also see people saying it’s against Fisher and to get Robins out etc... I think the purpose should be clear of what is trying to be achieved, if it’s the ground make that clear or this could just turn into another SISU hate thing rather than getting people to talk about the immediate future

No I want the club to stay in it’s current structure regardless of ownership. Unlike some in the laughably called Jimmy Hill Way.

Really just get shot down puts people off TBH.
Anyway I hear they are doing it again after the next Home game get involved.
There will be people who shoot it down, you're right, but there will also be people who want to get involved so the more publicity the better.
As the clock ticks down ( tick tock) more and more people will get involved .

Stu makes a valid point, what exactly are we meant to be protesting about?
Sorry but if you don't know by now, you never will .

it's a valid point.
A sisu out protest isn't the same as an protest aimed at getting the relevant parties round the table or at the football league for being absolutely useless.
If it's the middle option then perhaps best to save the sisu out banners and chants for another day, same goes for any anti wasps rhetoric.

"Save it for another day" just reminded us how many home games we have left at the Ricoh this season.

How are you supposed to know if nobody will say? The obvious answer would be its about our ground situation however the sit in is being talked about as SISU Out and there was a banner saying exactly that and the talk on facebook is that the march is Fisher and Sepalla Out.

While most fans would want all three of those things to happen these protests will not have the slightest bit of impact if that is the objective and will allow those who should be feeling the pressure regarding the ground situation off the hook.

I've no problem with it being a sisu out protest, but if the purpose of the protest is to get the parties negotiating then chanting or banners against any of those parties is surely counter productive, it's not difficult to grasp.

So it the fans fault for "chanting or banners" why ALL parties are not negotiating.

If the politicians can't get them to negotiate, what chance do us fans have.

Does it matter ? If someone wants to protest as long as it is within the law fair play to them, doubt if it will change things only a climb down from Wasps or sisu will do that and from what I’ve been hearing it won’t be the former which is very concerning.

Really don't understand the preciousness about this. They don't want to say it here because people are mean, and if you don't know what it's about we're not going to tell you? Sure people are going to disagree, but people are also going to be on your side if you at least let them know how to get involved. Seems like an exercise in self-importance otherwise.

heard the same from someone at the weekend who had previously been confident of another short term deal. We'll see, but it is a worry.

Yes it does matter.

"I'm looking for people to join in my protest, but I'm gonna keep you guessing as to what protesting about!"

If you want people to support you in something, you need to let them know what they're supporting. Especially if it's to take place within the match itself.

It's simple really. People whinge about on here because they can't just come on and post things without being questioned.

Post something like "SISU TAKE ALL MY TICKET MONEY" on Social Media and you get some backpats, likes and that's it. Post it on here and you get somebody question you about it.

It works in all directions, people will discuss things further on here and in more detail and ask for sources / links / more information about it rather than just believe it straight off because somebody put END OF in capitals.

Definitely agree. This place is by far the most rational place to discuss CCFC matters. Twitter (at least my timeline) isn't *that* bad, the Facebook forum is an absolute joke, I left it because I couldn't deal with attempting to read the illiterate ramblings of a 'Casual'.

I don't use FB so don't see any of it. If it is worse than Twitter then I dread to think.

Tried to discuss something the other day but they had no actual interest in any facts but just said they wanted to get games abandoned to save the club but had no idea what it would do.

Get 100 people like that who are all up for it and persuade themselves it will make SISU leave / drop the legals.

Have said it before about the bloke I used to talk to at the gym who was mad for it, everything was fact, if people said it was going to do something then it definitely would. Anybody else didn't care about CCFC.

People aren't interested in rational.

Thanks hun, I thought it was good too, however, you still haven't answered the original question of what exactly are we meant to be protesting about?

Please use the A) to G) questionnaire if you can't think of an answer yourself.

Where have you two been for the last 11 years ?

And you still don't know what's it's all about .

The football club could be heading towards oblivion and some fans just moan and do nothing.

You keep asking what are we meant to be protesting about,

I'll give you a clue , it's has something to do with the last 11 years.

Protests have been aimed at different people and concerned different issues. You could just answer a fairly simple question instead of all this vague nonsense.
