I voted yes because I cannot get to any home games and only to a handful of away games, so the commentary comes in handy. It nearly gives me about 5 heart attacks per game though as whoever it is that commentates over reacts to the slightest amount of action in the game!

If you get to games then definitely not.

Nope. Can't be used on iPhone's / iPad's. I know it's do do with Apple's flash politics, but another form of stream needs to be offered for those with one of Apple's finest

I've got it ,and while i lived in France it was worth it. Now i'm back I won't be re-newing it as i obviously plan to be many more games.I wouls say £5 was a bit steep for what basically is commentary, that you could get with CWR, though the historical look back in the archives was very good which bought back so many happy memories.

I've said b4 that Sky's and the football league/FA/premier league virtual monopoly is unfair practice.

If CCFC were mine I'd launch my own TV and do my own deals to show every game home and away to subscribers live online. Do my own local deals with pubs too.

Would this affect gate receipts? No as Sky has proven. It would add considerable finances to the club that they then control.

With such a subscription I would be first in line! I'd pay two thirds of the value of a season ticket for that! Also you could have a combined season ticket/TV subscription raising even more funds. Yes we are all nuts about our clubs...we would go back from the Ricoh and watch it all over again and freeze frame decisions and all.

MOTD would be less appealing. At the moment football on TV is like a British Airways cartel!

i might get it next year, what are the highlights like? brief or extended? can they be downlaoded or just streamed?

I was happy with the extended highlights until I read the 90mins thing too!

I have a windows phone which doesn't support flash either. I pay my subscription and watch it often but I definitely would use it more if it was available in other formats.

You can have extended highlights or "flylights" which are more brief. Streaming only, unfortunately. I assume that's to stop anyone uploading to YouTube.

I do think its good value!

There was talk about a Midlands football channel, as it wasn't viable to have a national Coventry City only football TV channel, but Sky won the rights yet again.

It could still happen, as per Man U, Chelsea & Liverpool TV.

Just don't get why other teams can watch the game and we cant? Is it down cov or sky player

I think it's down to Cov. It is annoying. But then again, the only commentary they use is the Mercia team... I don't think most people could stomach them for 90+ minutes when you've got pictures!!

Live in devon and use it frequently. Like the extended highlights, and find it a relatively cheap of way getting more coverage from a distance. So yes.

I pay £4,29 a month and cancel it during closed season. Then I get 2 weeks free when I sign up again, just like you can get 2 weeks free at the moment.

I work shifts and live nearly 5 hours away from home games. I travel to Cov to get the coach with the lads so away games are a full weekend for me. Can't make lots of games most seasons. It is value for money for me If I only get to listen to 1 or 2 games a month. I never miss a goal with the highlights. I also prefer to listen to the other teams commentary sometimes as well. Some are just as shite as ours though.

I've used it for a good few years now. Its not particularly cheap but it does what it says on the tin and for me its worth the commentary. I too pay monthly, closing it when I go to games or I know a livestream will be available. I wish we could get the full 90minutes. Anyone that is on SBP should request it during the next game, they probable won't do anything but who knows.

I got it this season for the first time, to be honest if we were flying high in lge it wud seem better value, I never watch the highlights when we lost unless I didn't go to the match. As for interviews I haven't a thorn chat since b4 Xmas as they just repeat the same comments everything.

There are some good archive matches on there though. I'd like to see more highlights from the Yth team matches.

Coventry City FC: It is something we are looking at but you do have to bear in mind that other teams do watch Player and will have access to a whole game to break apart on demand.
Also, our research shows that subscribers do not watch extended highlights in their entirety and skip to the best bits which suggests most of a 90 min package would go unwatched.
We'll consider it though and ask for feedback in the close season and try to make some positive changes
