CCFC Finance Director
What's the point of interviewing him he has nothing new to offer and played a key part in putting the club in a vulnerable position

I reckon it will be asking him what he thinks about it all...

I can't see them giving him any questions about his time here.

It wouldn't surprise me if he came on and said he was willing to help with sorting out the problems.

Can they make him wear a chubby brown costume just so I can see if he really does look like him?

Him only bowing down to pay all the extortionate demands of footballers and their agents.......so about Jimmy Hill ?!

Not paying himself more than the PL chairman?
Not getting loans from the club?
Not gifting himself hundreds of thousands in bonuses?
Not selling HR?
Not renting back HR?
Not pocketing hundreds of thousands from sale of Arena land to Tesco?

Richardson is not blameless but didn't make any decisions post January 2002, convenient fall guy in his absence. Politicians are very very good at this kind of thing.

True. The decisions he made BEFORE January 2002 fucked us up big time though. We've never recovered.

Take me way too long to check all that out. Not disagreeing but the downfall of football and a lot of sport is the hideous and nauseating wage figures they demand. Richardson was a grabber but he wasn't and isn't on his own is he.

To be fair, nobody called Richardson a c**t when Mustapha Hadji turned down Marseille to come and join us.

He claims to not know absolutely anything about where the money went from the Highfield Road sale, where the 60M debt rumours originated from or about taking money out of the club. Either way he looks completely incompetent or is an absolute liar

He takes no responsibility for the mess the club is in.

He's a joker.

He was a fans dream at the time, facilitating expenditure for eye catching players. .....that we just couldn't afford ! Strachan lapped it up of course as manager, we also sold at inflated prices too but ultimately ran up that killer debt that messed us and quite a few other clubs up. Truth is if we had just clung on to the Prem for a few more years we would have hit the big time.

I met Richardson on several social occasions in the nineties and I held him in the highest regard as a chairman and custodian of the club. He was ambitious, open, deep thinking and wanted only the best for club and the new stadium was his baby until his removal.
Now it is up to others to decide their truth about him but I believe the ombudsman cleared him of any wrong doing at the time and does anybody really believe that he got millions out of the process and hasn't been spoken to by the authorities or sued, or barred as a company director?
Then you have the Chinese whispers, why hasn't he faced them head on? I know he had a spell as a financial advisor at Derby which will make some laugh or choke!
Where he lost me was the pay rises and bonus he gave himself. These are not flights of fantasy or urban gossip but audited club accounts.
"Richardson's decision to vote himself a 170% pay rise and hoist his wage to around £600,000 a year riled supporters and he was removed in a January boardroom coup with the club £60m in debt."
