I experienced a group like this first hand, thankfully nothing too serious but could have got pretty nasty when they were pulling knives.
Could have been a lot worse if we had stuck about.
Thing is, I've seen one of them about since I've got married and had a child so what can you do? Its a losing battle giving them a slap when they would just stab you when you aren't looking or kick your door in and do it in the night with ten of their mates.
They don't care, that's the worrying bit. Easier just to Have them put down

IMO the UK is a much angrier place than it was 10-15 years ago, the lack of respect for people’s lives is disgusting. The police don’t stand a chance though following on from the cuts made and warnings were made before.
I was back there for a night last month and even going into a pub it was sharp contrast to over here, people angry and looking for trouble with strangers.

Starts in school with fights and shouting back at teachers, then moves on to nicking stuff from shops and abusing shopkeepers. Previous school had big problems with a particular demographic that had no fear of punishment and no wish to integrate.
It’s a disturbing pack mentality that’s very hard to challenge.

Yeah that’s true, I don’t know if the same sort of fighting goes on in schools in other European countries, it’s bizarre.
The looking for fights goes on into adulthood though, it’s pathetic...if you are so desperate to fight go and do what I did and take up boxing. I think a lot of them have a lot of anger inside themselves and feelings of inadequacy, which need to be released

Only in the USA is there less respect for education (in 1st world countries). Don’t even bother with uniforms there. Assaults on teachers have gone up in recent years (including myself in those statistics), makes me wonder if school should even be compulsory if it’s going to be thrown in the face of people doing their best.

Again it's all down to the parents. The minute my daughter backchats a teacher I expect them to phone me and I will be straight down there making sure she knows she won't get away with doing it again. I'd be fuming and let down at her being disrespectful.
Then there's parents who would go down and kick off at the teacher.

In my experience most parents are ashamed of their children when they’re told of bad behaviour but not all know how to rein it in. Then there’s some who blame the teacher and sadly the school tends to blame the teacher for the misbehaviour in the first place.
In my case stuff was thrown at my head and the guy who did it wasn’t even suspended.

I'd be deeply ashamed, apologise and go home and tell her off. Probably make her sit and write an apology out as well.
Should have been allowed to throw it back twice as hard

The other example I use is bouncers, the kids know they can get in their face and nowadays bouncers cant or wont do anything. If I had tried that when I first started going out I would have been dragged out the back and got a pasting.

That’s shocking. I’ve always maintained that the current setup isn’t for everyone though, there should be vocational options for those who wish to do them with basic numeracy and literacy modules included to pass.

The current setup sees someone expected to entertain 30+ children for 5 or 6 lessons a day, with little classroom support, poor facilities and a syllabus oriented around rote learning over application. It would ease the strain to have a vocational alternative and if it meant that more manageable classes were left in school nobody’s complaining.
Won’t surprise anyone that Germany has something quite similar already in place

That’s the most frustrating thing, you have to maintain decorum and can’t say a word out of line but they can treat you like shit with impunity. You treat people like that long enough and they’ll leave-which I did.
