Nuneaton anyone?
The club has until tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5, to tell the English Football League where they will play their home matches during the 2019-20 season, or face expulsion from the league.
Misleading headline writing from the Telegraph, and a really poorly written article:
I know in the dreamworld of the Nicky Eastwood Way and the Trust they'd love the EFL to punish the club by expelling them from the league, but in the real world the reality is that they'll need to show evidence of an alternative to the Ricoh if we want to avoid expulsion.
Anybody who thinks the club will survive explusion from the EFL is utterly utterly deluded.
4.5k seater that we wouldn't even fill due to the boycotting that would ensue.
Nah.
I think the support would be more sympathetic in this instance
Yes, defo........again, as I did last time. That's the Ricoh deal for next season gone then... Would anybody go next season if we are to groundshare again???
Thought there was a limit to how far from the city centre the ground has to be? Only the Butts, Bedworth and Nuneaton are within that I think.Only place i could see us groudnsharing realistically is Walsall
Would you prefer them to not be looking in to alternatives to the Ricoh? That would mean if Wasps maintain their stance we’ve out of the league. That's the Ricoh deal for next season gone then... Would anybody go next season if we are to groundshare again???
EFL puts it to a vote, clubs vote to keep us in which forces the EFL to relax any rule citing exceptional circumstances.Thought there was a limit to how far from the city centre the ground has to be? Only the Butts, Bedworth and Nuneaton are within that I think.
Misleading statement in Tim Fisher interview here.He has said they are looking at alternatives, surely it was to be expected?
It is a clickbait, misleading title as there are no plans in there other than the quotes from the accounts.

Walsall??Yes, I would this time. Feels far more forced upon us this time.

Does anybody think we shouldn't be looking at options when the owners of the only stadium we can realistically play in won't talk to us?

As for who would go, dependent on where it was, I would. This is very different to last time.
Of course the owners will talk. It just needs SISU to drop their ludicrous legal action which we all know is unwinnable anyway. Most City fans I know regard Wasps' stance as perfectly reasonable, in that why should they negotiate with someone who is trying to distress them as a company?Does anybody think we shouldn't be looking at options when the owners of the only stadium we can realistically play in won't talk to us?

I may have mised something, but even if SISU were to drop the legals, there’s no guarantee a deal will be agreed with Wasps. As they have refused to talk to the club, we have no idea what the terms would be.
If London Wasps have done nothing wrong and the legal action is ludicrous then they have nothing to fear by letting it run the course. If sisu aren't going to drop the legals would you rather we play elsewhere or cease to exist?Of course the owners will talk. Not sure why some of our fans are so keen on us being kicked out of the league.Let me rephrase that for you. If SISU maintain their stance were out the league.
