Don't think so. Agree with Meyler coming in for physicality - just hope he's fit enough - then pushing Bayliss forward. That said, I still have a hankering to see Thomas playing in that role just ahead of midfield, as on the bobbly pitch I think he'd be a nightmare, hassling their back four and if he nicks it from their central defenders, which is likely on that pitch, we could have them in trouble.

Agreed re seeing Thomas down the middle just behind Baka. If this then Baylis on right and meyler and Kelley in the middle. Shipley on bench to take over if/when meyler tires. McCallum on bench as replacement for either Mason or Hiwula if needed.
Does anyone know if Willis is fit? If not I would play grimmer.
Burge has to play (I’m sure he would be dropped if robins trusts Addai) as we have no real alternative and just hope he gets the support of the crowd rather than jeers.

Quite looking forward to the game tomorrow. Bit worried about the starting 11 though.

I'd be surprised if Willis is fit, but hope he is. Don't risk him on that pitch if he's not 100% though.

I hope he is, we don't have anybody else

I’m sure he will be fit, he’s quite prone to muscle strains or impact injuries a few times this season late on in games and turns out the next game when he’s looked like he’s done damage.

Huge game this evening. An opportunity to put Friday’s mess behind us and get the staff, players and fans back on the same page (and amazingly, keep in touch with that 6th place!)

As much as I’d love to swap Burge for anybody else, I cannot see it happening, solely down to lack of apparent faith in Addai. Chances are, he’ll have the game of his life tonight (starting the age old argument on here once more). For me, he’s been given ample opportunity to cement his place and he’s not grasped it (literally!). I’d be beyond disappointed if he were still on the books next season.

Willis and Davies are certs, Sterling more often than not is a cut above but I’d certainly ponder drafting in Brown for Mason, who has looked poor in recent games.

Meyler starting is an absolute must. We are missing a leader in there, someone who won’t take any shit. This could be the perfect game for him to make his mark against a team marshalled by that good all round, lovely bloke; Joey Barton.

Bayliss down the right, Kelly, Meyler and Thomas on the left with Hiwula and Bakadonkey up top. Not a lot of other options at present unfortunately. Letting JCH go really looks like biting us on the arse!

I know it only takes most of us one result to completely change our opinion on whether we’re half decent or shite, but it’s borne out of frustration than anything else. For the points we’ve thrown away, chances missed and goals gifted, we should be comfortably up there (no mean feat for a team that finished 6th last year). I just hope that Friday hasn’t pegged us back, as the 5 games prior really had us starting to believe as well as enjoying our football again.

2-1 City. PUSB.

Blackpool versus Doncaster tonight. A draw there and a win for us will put us tantalisingly close to the play offs.

Want 3 points for the loyal core who turn up for these less glamorous games. Win tonight and it will start to get interesting. Under doctor's orders tonight, so I'm going to go to Barnsley away to make up for it!

My prediction was 2-1, but I just changed it to 1-1.
Everything points to a low scoring game.
They've only conceded 6 goals in the last 8 games and we aren't the greatest goal scorers (but neither are they).

Can't make it because of living somewhere else and having a job. Life is cruel.
Can’t make it. Living somewhere else. Jobs never got in the way. I had many arguments with bosses as a crazy teenager in the ‘’70’s
Can’t make it. Living somewhere else. But if we get to Wembley (with a place to play next season), I’ll be right over for the weekend.

Off topic, but weren't we promised (TF or Dave Boddy?) a statement from our owners early this week?

I seem to remember some thing mentioned about that. Certainly Tim Fisher told talksport that there was some good news coming for supporters in two weeks time - that's due on Monday (though don't bet on it )

Same team as Friday with the exception of Meyler for Bright with Bayliss pushed forward to 10.

However, one of Meyler or Kelly have to ensure their main aim is to attack and push us forward, we don’t want to end up playing with two defensive midfielders.

Another big game, I’ll think we’ll do it today. The team owe us after Friday.

The atmosphere was tense and negative on Friday, it needs to be better today. Let’s hope the idiots don’t get on Burge’s back from the first minute. Yes he needs replacing, but we need him for the rest of the season. Confidence is everything, the fact he’s a footballer doesn’t make him immune.

Weather is absolutely awful, cannot wait for the walk to the game. Let’s hope it’s worth it.
