Fantastic result, not the most fluent of performances but who cares. Vast improvement after the break, great to see both strikers on the scoresheet and what a mature performance from Morgan Williams on his debut. Would have no qualms throwing him back in again in future.

A game, which on Friday at 10pm looked like a dead rubber, now propels us into Saturday against an out of form Peterborough where we can potentially go joint 6th!

One swallow doesn’t make a Summer, but well played tonight Lee Burge. Match winning performance.

PUSB!

Maybe pessimistic but as I said before reality is we have to win 6-7 games left and we won’t do that.
Surely it depends solely on the relative performances of the teams, including ourselves, who are in the scrap for 6th place?

Great win. I don’t care how it’s done but it’s done.

We won’t get the playoffs so let’s just nip that in the bud now. That’s not being pessimistic just realistic. Top half finish and we can be incredibly proud.
It ain't over 'til it's over. After Friday it's amazing that we're still firmly in the mix. Just took a look at everyone's fixtures. No-one has an easy run in and despite our miserable goal difference (0) P'boro and Blackpool are only at +5 and +2
The dream is alive

I've been doing a rough guide all season.

With the inferior goal difference realistically we are four points of 6th

and even if we don't do it, to be in the mix at this stage of our first season back in league one is a great effort.

That’s not reality at all! That’s your opinion! Reality is if Donnie win all their matches, we can’t make it, and if they win none of their matches, we can do it. If we have to win 6-7 then they (Donnie, Posh and Blackpool) have to do the same really. Is them winning those matches more realistic than us?

We need a combination of 34 points won or Doncaster dropped to finish above them.

One cup final at a time boys if we turn up and take 3 pts on Saturday then we can review our chances again. If we lose its all over

A much better performance on a surprisingly chilly evening. One very fortunate goal, one very classy goal. A nervous last twenty minutes, but the right result. Next.

Sorry mate. Never understood any of these since you first started posting them. Clear as mud to me.

This is the interesting one.

The movement since the end of the January transfer window is noticeable.

You can also see the trends on how other teams should be moving around the league.

Great to see optimism is back on here. We have 5 away games left, all against teams above us - but that may be better for us as we seem to play better against the teams who play less "Division 3" football.
Using the old football phrase - One game at a time - let's see what happens on Saturday.

The answer to the question is yes - it is more realistic that they will win the matches. We will be lucky to get 3 points away and need to win every game at home and as we saw last Friday we can slip up there. And last night were second best except in the thing that mattered, that will not happen every time. The loss to Burton shows we are not there yet. Lose on Saturday and that is that

But we have a young team and it's March and we are still involved. Big hat tip to Robins.
Incidentally, anybody note that yet again Hirwula made a goal out of virtually nothing. His are never tap ins. He is now top scorer

Thought their number 2 was very good, Lewis Coyle. Apparently on loan from Leeds.

Interesting to note that he started off out on the left in that first half, but then switched to the right in the second.

Fleetwood put some very dangerous balls into the box all night long.

Wish we had that in our locker.
