Think about what you've just posted. 'She’s saying I’ll do what Wasps has asked', so that's surely a good thing. 'but with a condition that talks on a new stadium start' a stadium nobody thinks is getting built so why the problem talking about it.

Have those talks, Wasps have their condition met for a new deal to be agreed and start moving things forward.

Lets say Wasps agree a 5 year deal while SISU supposedly build this new stadium. Do you think with the legals now called off and no actual plan to build a new stadium we would be in a position where it is more likely than it is currently that SISU will leave or less likely?

That is enough to facilitate a meeting. In this meeting they should ideally be able to agree a long term rental for the club on condition of the legals and stadium plan being shelved.

Sisu can say 'we didn't need a new stadium as we've secured a long term deal that generates needed revenue for the club which is what we've been saying is needed all along, we're happy a new stadium wasn't required for this'

The council can say 'we've prevented any further costly legal action which will benefit the taxpayers of Coventry and kept the football club where it belongs'

London Wasps can say 'we're committed to being part of the community and that involves working with the local football club. we can now investigate sharing retail and ticketing spaces/costs for the benefit of us both'

Win, win fucking win.

I'm not saying this will happen because I've supported this club for too long but compromise and negotiations could lead to a good outcome for all involved. You don't give up your leverage before negotiations, you don't give your best offer before negotiations - this is basic stuff.
