On the basis of the statement there’s nothing to talk about. Just drop the legals already and 50% of the statement will come true anyway. That in its own will be progress for a sisu statement.
We know where a new stadium will go. Nowhere. Why have they felt the need to float this fantasy again if not for distraction? And more to the point why are you giving them enough credit to even consider making a statement of “just saying discussions should be started to see where it goes”? Fucking hell, if you got an email from the African lottery saying that you’d won a gazillion pounds just open the attached zip file to claim would you open it to see where it goes? I’m starting to think you would.
Because they would want to go in with legals as a negotiation. Why would they drop them on the hope people then talk?
Why the desperation against putting them in a room together, both having legals dropped in mind and seeing what happens? What harm will it do, you haven't said?
I wouldn't open a spam email, then again I wouldn't go to a football match just to see somebody who had camped out or completely ignore discussions about a decent win all night to discuss Brexit. Strange old world.
Oh well, at least with Tim, john, dart and David you are in good company.
