The EFL are still debating whether to dish out that points deduction and no decision has been made, yet.
They are saying its different because the Court has appointed an administrator which is different from being put into administration via a credior i.e, HMRC! dont ask me as i think they are one of the same? If the EFL are not going to issue a points deduction then I believe Southampton , Coventry and any other team that has been deducted Etc will start a joint legal proceedings (WOW that unusual) against them. The league want to dicuss kicking Coventry out of the league and all this shite is going on!! Something drastically wrong with the EFL if you ask me!

For me this game and next one are crucial, we win this and the next one we have every chance but its so tight a loss and a draw we might find it too hard to recover to stay in touch to get that last spot!

Before this thread goes any further, I am as excited as anyone by the prospect of the playoffs, but can we please try and not have a catastrophic meltdown if we are to lose a few games before the end of the season. We have five of the toughest games still to play and I don't really fancy reading about the 'spineless cowards' or how 'Robins has to go' when we've done incredibly well to be in the position we are in. Let's roll with it, enjoy it, and with a little luck we may get to enjoy ourselves Mid-May, but let's not become too expectant.
Spot on!

Robins is a spineless coward and has to go....

If for whatever reason we managed to smash these guys and take 3 points we could be right in for the playoffs.

I really don't understand, we looked non-non-league against Burton. Can someone explain this to me?

We have young team with little consistency. Also seems their confidence can be knocked quickly, if we score first we tend to win, if we go behind and crowd gets anxious, they seem to hide and play worse.

Said all season I think next season we will be right up there (personally don't think we will be promoted) , players will have experience, and if we can add a couple of decent attacking players, and a Goalie/RB, we will be a very good team.

Even though we won on Tue I think we may see a couple of changes.

If either Willis or Hyam are ready they'll be back in for Williams. As decent as Williams was he did get cramp at the end and will he suffer the physical effects even earlier on Saturday? Just the recovery required would mean I'd prefer him to be rested if someone else is available, but if not and he has to play he's earned that opportunity

Personally I'd put Brown in for Mason and have Kelly back in for Meyler. Bright should be on the bench, replacing Wakefield.

Someone suggested Davies do a job on one of the strikers like Toney, but I'm not so sure. In those type of tussles Davies can get 'overenthusiastic' shall we say and is liable to disciplinary problems. Just keep it simple for him - if it comes near you head or kick it away.

Not even going to predict the outcome - could go either way (which I guess would even out into a draw, but that would be a prediction)

In general the league isn't that much better in quality than League 2. You don't need to be a good team to get promoted just the least bad.

It is also why we could just as easily be where Walsall or Accrington Stanley are. Thin lines

I think that's right.

It's why it pains me about McNulty more than any player we've lost in years.

If we had him I honestly believe we'd be comfortably sitting in the top six.

Looks like they've got their own safety group that like to interfere.

Something about high winds bringing down a bit of roofing. Unless its a major incident I don't see why it should halt ticket sales. If its really bad then the stand would not be opened pending repairs and inspection.

Posh forum doesn’t seem to be including us in the playoff race. Between Doncaster, them and Blackpool if they’re to be believed...

Shame they’re wrong.

The team lurking that hits form late on in the season has a great chance of the play offs. There is hope

I'd play Kelly and Meyler today and rough up the posh and try catch them on the break for a classic 0-1 away from home

Well at last a game of football to concentrate on instead of all the other shenanigans going on at the minute. Must say like everyone else I’m fed up of the whole lot of it.
Anyway-2-0 to us, but any victory is a must if we are to have any chance of maintaining our slight playoff hopes.

I would settle for one going in of someone's arse at this stage 3 points would be massive boost today

We’re all getting a little cocky for my liking. And experience tells me that leads to a fall.

We can beat this lot today if we’re on our game and it’ll be a massive three points if we do.

My gut says we won’t do it. Cautious 1-1.
