I have heard that most of their top boys hang around in a bar called Ttonic in Sunderland.

Reminds me of a time we played Southampton years ago at Highfield Road Premier league era. I was off on holiday and getting the train from Cov to Bham international. Group of Southampton lads tinnies in hand collared me and the family outside the station asking for a recommendation for a near by bar. Pointed them in the direction of rainbows and off they popped in the next taxi that pulled up

Perfect result on Saturday will be a 1-0 win thanks to a dubious last minute pen which leads to Them losing the remainder of their games this season, missing out on the automatics and losing in the play off final too pens.

They can then spend the next 70 years blaming us like the bitter, deluded Morons they come across as on that message board

All we need is to delay our coach for 15mins and they will be totally losing their shit

This game feels like it has an edge to it, the Sunderland lot don't really like us and the feeling is mutual, personally I'm yet to meet at least one of their fans who isn't an obnoxious, deluded fuckwit.

If we concentrate on the game we can beat them - no doubt in my mind.

I think that's a bit unfair mate, I've worked with a good few Sunderland fans over the years, and ended up drinking in a couple of pubs up there the last time we played.

They're like us, the vast majority are entirely decent and can certainly take a joke or two at their own team's expense. The dickheads trying cause a bit of bother would embarrass them as much as our minority of brainless eejits shame us...

I'm happy to admit I've never met every single Sunderland fan, so the chances there are a few good ones out there, unfortunately the minority that I have met have been obnoxious and deluded - all seem to think they're super big club that should be challenging the top of English Football.

I pay no attention to those who attempt to cause trouble, however I will say that every Club has those types of fans.

I watch ITV in the mornings while I get everything ready for work.

There's usually 2 blokes on there from newspapers, one is a posher bloke and the other is a geordie. The geordie bloke on the right looks like you wouldn't trust him, very sneaky and he does my head in so I turn the TV off just because of his voice.

Turns out he is a Sunderland fan, this means they are all spunk bubbles.

Steph McGovern (business news presenter on BBC Brekkie - see "Not obvious hot babes" thread) is a Mackem too - can't abide her accent either!
