Yep, people pointed that out but not many listened.
All we heard was how "good it was for the city" and "work together etc". The PR job was massive on it.
Coventry City watch from gloom while Wasps make a buzz at Ricoh Arena
Perfect example. Same as applauding them.
People too busy trying to get close to them thinking they can team up on SISU to engage brains.
"Wasps make a buzz"
Fuck me!!!!!!!!
“It was dire, particularly when compared with the Wasps match which really was a fantastic sporting occasion,” said Jan Mokrzycki, of the Coventry City supporters’ Sky Blue Trust.
“It’s not about what went on in the past”
Yes there are ashes scattered there. The club made quite a big deal of it when moving from HR. There was a multi faith service at HR as people had ashes scattered there.I think something that might 'reach through' a bit more is if people requested the memorial garden be moved.
Are ashes scattered there?
Imagine on the front page of the CT "I want the memorial garden moved - my late father wanted to be close to his club, not a franchise London rugby team"
Best place for Jimmy in terms of relevance would be HR but it would be an odd place for it to go. Maybe the city centre or Memorial. The remembrance garden would have to go to someone like Canley crem I expect. Anywhere else public you couldn't be sure some pissed up idiot wouldn't trash it.Wouldn't want to damage the ones around it.
Maybe we can just get them out in bulk.
Who actually owns the memorial garden? Again, somebody like the Trust could be looking to find somewhere for it to be moved to.
Think someone brought it up on Twitter, the response is we don’t own the bricks - just the naming rights!!!How do we apply to get the bricks back? That should be the approach the Trust should take, petition everybody to want their bricks and seats back
What if people want their name removed?Think someone brought it up on Twitter, the response is we don’t own the bricks - just the naming rights!!!
Have a feeling they aren't actually bricks, its just a false front. Imagine they would come off pretty easily. Why not leave them. In a few years when they change the seats it will be an annoying reminder to Wasps fans they pinched someone else's ground. How do we apply to get the bricks back? That should be the approach the Trust should take, petition everybody to want their bricks and seats back

Hoffman hasn't taken over to save ccfc. Backfired againWhy has this come as a surprise to so many people?
I don't think it's a surprise just that some were holding back a little until it was actually confirmed in the hope of an 11th hour saviour that sadly never arrived and doesn't look likely to do so. On that basis the anger is now multiplied and I think it could get toxic at games quite quickly again as soon as the results are going against us.Why has this come as a surprise to so many people?
Yeah the logic of kicking off at a match doesn't add up.I don't think it's a surprise just that some were holding back a little until it was actually confirmed in the hope of an 11th hour saviour that sadly never arrived and doesn't look likely to do so. Nor does it include SISU with their imaginary stadium either. We have no future without the Ricoh, because we don't have owners who aren't full of shit to build us one.We should never EVER go back to that stadium again under any circumstance , time to start planning for the future , our future doesn’t include that soulless bowl anymore

And who are the owners of CCFC they're saying no to....?Can’t build where the council say ‘no’, or choose to be an obstacle m8
I thought so and yes I’ve just checkedDid you actually bother to read the post I was responding too?
Backed into a corner now being run out of not only the Ricoh but the city of coventry also with no realistic hope of building a stadium in Coventry because the council will block it. Fuck it this sucks especially when ur own council are forcing the issue. It's a sad day for Coventry city fc this will really hamper our growthAnd who are the owners of CCFC they're saying no to....?
I'm taking mine they can all fuck themselvesHow do we apply to get the bricks back? That should be the approach the Trust should take, petition everybody to want their bricks and seats back
I'm yet to see a logical explanation as to why SISU would liquidate us.If we leave, the chances of us liquidating increase so much, it's scary.
