Thing being thrown at Sunderland (1 Viewer)

Like many of you I’ve been all over the country following Cov and seen a fair few exchanges over the years. However, I have never seen Cov lads pick fights on families or children etc....

I’ve also never known such a hypocritical bunch as the Mackems. Full of shit, self pity and acting like the world owes them something. Not sure if anyone read very similar things when they played Pompey at Wembley a few weeks ago?

Literally lie after lie, Chinese whispers etc.

There will be Sunderland fans reading all this who actually take it seriously and accuse us of revelling in scummy behaviour....

I'll knock their nans / mistresses out too then.

Completely agree with this. I was there on Saturday, personally I didn’t see anything thrown (not to say it didn’t happen though) but the way their fans are spinning it on twitter and Facebook etc. You’d think it was WW2 with the number of missiles allegedly thrown.

What gets me is all their accounts are ‘they were attacking kids, families, elderly, disabled, women etc and it’s always so detailed. They did exactly the same when they were at Wembley against Portsmouth

Read one tweet saying we were pissing in cartons and throwing it at them. The amount of people that have phones with cameras on but there’s no evidence of these countless bags of shit we threw at them. Laughable.

You lost, move on. Don’t get bitter and make up story’s to make yourself feel better

The evidence has been posted on twitter

Exactly, fuck all was thrown!

I was right behind the goal about half way up and from a distance I definitely saw at least two items (bottles I think and second half) indiscriminately thrown over towards the fans below.

No excuse for that, mindless actions.

Barraged by 100s of constant missiles being thrown throughout the game but no one got any decent evidence to back It up. Ok then

God knows then, probably wasn't watching at that moment

It’s comedy gold and hugely predictable once they lost. As someone else commented, listen to them you’d think it was like Agincourt with the air thick with bottles, piss, bags of night soil, sandwiches, and the odd kitchen sink being hoyed doon (I’m going to use hoy from now on). Lurid tales of attacks on old grannies and toddlers. On their forum there was a reference to an arrest for breaching a banning order. Cue meltdown about us selling a ticket to such a person. Turns out from above newspaper story it was one of them.

On a serious note has anyone heard of any Coventry fans getting hurt etc? A number of claims on their threads saying fans were targeted, sorted out, clipped etc after the game.

Nothing really happened. They are making out they stormed through hundreds of Coventry fans.

fuck me the coonts are still moaning about it and wanking each other off on it. Just let the police sort out who the twats were plenty of cctv, and charge them and the Club ban them.

wankers saying "I love Hitler me" and hoping we go bust (didn't think that was on the cards?) and get kicked out the league, standard shit from Scumderland.

I'd be more worried that the defence was ripped apart time and again and they couldn't stop us. Ha'way the Sky Blues PUSB

Is it slightly ironic that the Sunderland fan arrested with the two Cov lads already has a banning order and was in breach of it so I wonder why he went to the Wheatsheaf on a Saturday against us for, not the place to go for a quiet pint when banned already.

Our fans did act poorly, no need to be on the pool table it to throw things but let the investigation take place and charge those accordingly, not live in a social media frenzy of Chinese whispers

Is this really the best we've got to talk about ? We won, got the 3 points. If there was trouble, the Police are looking into it. But we're going to be homeless in a couple of weeks. Who gives a flying f**k what Sunderland think of us ? We've never cared before a season or two ago. So why now ? They want to focus on us ? Let them. This continued talking up of the supposed rivalry between two distant teams is almost as big a joke as our current plight. And unless it stops, innocent fans are going to get hurt and we're going to be back to the dark ages of football hooliganism. Think it's time we moved on to talking about the next game.

But not only was it the Sunderland fans, but Sunderland AFC itself stoking the fire on Saturday with an incredibly unprofessional tweet on Saturday when you are already aware there is animosity between supporters for the club to then encourage and support this animosity between supporters is nothing short of disgraceful and I have no doubt that the tweet from Sunderland AFC added to the crowd trouble which happened on Saturday. This individual who tweeted from the Sunderland official Twitter should be sacked immediately.
If they didn't want trouble, then why did they as a football club actively encourage and condone the animosity between the sets of fans with this inflammatory tweet?
Bann'ahhh like, pyuwahhh Bann'ahhh.

The only thing I can see being thrown throughout this whole thing is Mackem dummies and toys out their pram cos they lost.
My three year old tells better lies to get his older brother in trouble.

And he can pronounce his words better than them lot
