I as there Friday, as I have been to every “home” game. I was really pleased to hear every contributor to this sorry mess effectively castigated in the chant - for the first time - rather than the usual “we want Sisu out”. So people have woken up to some realities and I don’t think we need that painted over by a whitewash of an article in the Guardian that attracts the praise of that unbiased observer, Maton.

You're constantly at pains to point out to people that they need to be dealing in fact. Deal with fact then. Forget sentiment, just fact. We don't own the stadium. If we want a piece of it, we're gonna have to pay.
To want the club to move out of the city to avoid doing this shows how deluded you are I'm afraid.

London Wasps are financially screwed. They have a very large repayment coming up, will find it harder to refinance after having been found lying to auditors, are losing a lot of money each year with attendances worsening and the arena will soon need significant maintenance work.
They are not going to give up access to revenues without significant cash and we shouldn’t be paying £20m for something they paid £2m for a few years ago. The end of them is in sight. Wait them out and pick up our stadium in its entirity.

The reason wasps were the preferred buyers if the ricoh was that they were willing to take on the associated debt and SISU werent.
SISU are now whinging in court that wasps didnt pay enough for the ricoh.
Another point, do you think SISU would be willing to sell on ccfc without it's associated debt? Not on your nelly.

They didn’t take on the associated debt until after the purchase
An associated debt that had to be refinanced using a stadium whose value was hyped up by a lease extension
Oh and the council stated Sisu would not be allowed to loan against the stadium and was a major factor for not allowing the purchase as it was mortgaging a community asset.

Not true. Sisu agreed to take on the YB loan to pair the arena with the club. The council took that lon on instead and then sold it on to London Wasps begins our back.

Look, deal with the fact that they own the stadium. If the price we have to pay is half their debt then so be it. Sisu's last JR contention was that it was sold undervalued so does that debt purchase fall below or above their own valuation?

And it will move on again when we fail to agree a Ricoh rent deal and it emerges Wasps are trying to charge 3 times the previous rate. Then it will be Wasps right to charge what they like as owners and back to SISU's fault for not buying it when they had the chance.

Given the financial issues we've had and continue to suffer because I cant believe any right minded fan would even suggest paying wasps x£m (potentially £20m if wasps valuation for the stadium is correct) for for 50% of the stadium and take on half of the £35m debt and £2.5m pa interest wasps have put on the stadium.
No football club owner or prospective owner would even contemplate it, you may as well build you're own stadium for £40-50m.

Imagine your outrage if SISU financed against the Ricoh to give themselves £10m.
Still, you now want the football club to give them a chunk of money and take on half the debt to be able to play in Coventry.
