Fargo is pretty far-fetched, but based on true stories I believe? at least that's what is written before each episode.
Yep indeed.

That's why the 'true' fades out on the screen and you are left with 'this is a story' in the title at the start. ;)

Cracking start to the series.
Usual dodgy strands to the story line
already but I still enjoy it!

Good 2nd episode, not that exciting, but some interesting development re. the undercover cop. More of a linking episode me thinks?!

Fell asleep watching it after a few beers at the City game on Sunday. Will have to re-watch.

Thought it was brilliant last night, The black chick (Lisa, I think), I reckon shes another undercover cop too. Hastings looks dirty as fuck at the moment but there's plenty of twists to come.

Yeah Hastings is too obvious

When he was communicating with Corbett and Lisa via the laptop he made the same spelling error on the word definitely, (spelt it definately), as the anonymous big shot made when typing his communications with them in an earlier episode.

I’d clocked this as well. Expect so much more from a senior police officer!

Yeah I noticed that but I still think it was far too obvious. They made it pretty obvious about the spelling rather than keeping it subtle.

Not that fussed about tonight's, is as if they have run out of ideas and redoing what they did to Steve previously

It would be amazing if it turnes out to be Arnott or Fleming! Either of them would be the only real jaw dropper now.

I think I read that he wasn't writing any more after this one so surely it's all going to be wrapped up?

I think Ted is too obvious, the woman he was romancing is too obvious as she has previous with Dot Cotton and that folder.

Yeah. Bigggelow and Hastings too obvious.

Yeah. Bigggelow and Hastings too obvious.

One thing I have thought is a bit strange is Fleming's husband / ex or whoever he is. They have never really brought him into it that much or had any focus on him even when she was outside banging on the door.

Yeah that's a good shout. The black lady who was with Steven Graham. I'm sure there is more to her.

Ah OK, they will leave bits open then! I was just going by this:

Seems an angry man

I wonder if a reporter would ever have the balls to say to him that he thought The Grimleys was his best work to date
