Oxford, if we'd beat them a couple weeks back but they won today, different story but then we could point to countless ifs and buts !

We have no pressure now

Robins shoulf send them out ultra attacking. Losing dont matter anymore

I know its over but lets have some fun in last 2 games

fair play to Doncaster, they did enough, ourselves and Peterborough kept shooting ourselves in the foot.

Been a great effort for the first season back in league one. A positive announcement regarding the Ricoh and we've got real reason to be optimistic for next season.

View attachment 12059 Can’t help but think of this. And Walsall away. And Burton and Bristol at home. Oh how I’ve missed seasons of ifs and buts
Yeah. Walsall away is the one. Conceding two injury time goals to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Still a fantastic season though, well done to Robins and all the players and staff.

I think given what I've seen 7th represents a good season but not at the fantastic or immense level

Wasps getting stuffed, no European rugby for them then. Makes me feel slightly better. To make it more Coventry linked we need rugby scores in last two games lol

Team tomorrow deserves a big crowd to get behind them to thank them for their efforts this season...no SISU protest songs during the game. Sadly I think the Doncaster score today will mean many will now just not bother

Nick. Get the Shrewsbury game on the bookies section .I'm going all out on a 7-0 win (want 150-1) and if it comes up I'm going for the lot on a 4-0 at Donny (but I'd settle for 5-1 and losing the lot!)

Completely agree wasn’t there to see it but those few minutes at the end of the Walsall game was the critical moment in our season. anyway we’ll done Robins and all the lads really exciting season. Let’s nail it and back to the Championship next year .

I’m pretty old but maybe just maybe I’ll live to see the Sky Blues back in the Premiership where we belong.

I'd love that too, but I've come to realise that it's enjoying the journey with watching us. I'd take last season (or this) any day over watching a season of dross/hanging on in The PL/championship etc. It's all about the memories, friensl etc, although of course I want the team to do as well as possible. That's why I'm chuffed that the supporters clubs have taken off and started to reunite a lot of the fanbase. Really positive stuff lately.

Was gutted an hour ago.... but I’ve shouted at the kids... told the dog to feck off and had a couple of beers.... now thinking what a great season this has been....lots to feel good about and proud of what they have achieved.......we look good for a City of Culture Championship team in 2021.

the ironic thing is, we are running to budget, they are leaving MR alone to manage the team (i get that some fans have wanted him gone this season, but most didn't). If we had a secured home ground in coventry, the negativity towards them playing games in the court room would be a lot less.

Burge wouldn’t be near the first team any longer give Addai a run out
Much as I dislike Burge, I think that would be an unnecessary insult. He's played for us all season, let him end on a positive note.
I'd like to see the loanees 'rested' and Ponticelli start, with Bremang given some minutes as well.
Knowing Robins, he won't experiment at all and barring injuries will name an unchanged side for the last two games.

playing devil advocate here. it would be an insult to rest burge as he has played for us all seaosn but will be off in the summer, yet we should rest sterling, thomas et al who have played for us all season and will be off in the summer ?
