Mate. You are far far far closer to the Sisu side than I am the council side. Me and my Dad only talk about on the pitch stuff. I see him maybe twice a week when I pick the kids up. He’s a big boy. He does what he wants.
If I was “blinded by loyalty” you and your motley crew would be able to pull apart the holes in my argument. You can’t, that’s why you resort to this shit.
It’s clear as day.
The arguments are very easy to pull apart actually.
Council contribution to the football club has been shameful and has frequently disregarded the community asset value.
There is a history of dire treatment
The initial shenanigans around the new ground and the absolute insistence on going there and not returning to highfield road
The land purchase debacle
The f and b disgrace
The absurd arrangement which meant the club was doomed to fail
The refusal to discuss a new rent deal when trouble was clearly coming
The utter contempt around the club and the charity by refusing a lease extension to improve ACL asset value
The decision to take the loan rather than the payment of a £1,900 a month for the original rental arrangement yet at the same time charging a rental to the club wholly disproportionate to value
Insisting on sisu as the candidate
Alienating one other potential buyer after one meeting
All this was even before the fall out. Conversely the council has gone massively out of its way to support a London rugby club
Compare the treatment to any of the other cities below
Hull
Ipswich
Nottingham
Swansea
The respective councils have subsidised rent, written off loans or built a stadium for their community football club
Our council have done the opposite so go back up Duggins rectum where you belong
