Insane??? I think you'll find the majority of us on here would deem the season decent at best

I'd agree. Half decent. Highs and lows right down the middle

He’s done fuck all. His whole demeanour screams Sunday league. Need to fuck him
Off in the summer

Regarding the point - he apparently chased down the keeper forcing him into an error and then managed to get on the end of a cross that the keeper had to divert wide for a corner. What did the othe two strikers do in that game?

I'm not saying he doesn't need to improve - he does and needs to spend the summer getting into better shape to show MR his intent BUT his natural instinct is to be in the box and get onto crosses etc - exactly what we've missed this season and largely the reason we didn't make the play-offs (along with individual defensive errors, esp from set pieces but had we scored even half the chances we should've those wouldn't have been that much of an issue).

Lots of talk about potential strikers to sign because ours aren't prolific enough - we COULD have what we need already (and Bremang shouldn't be discounted either) if they show the desire to step up depending on how they treat themselves over the summer.

We averaged 1.5 points per game against the relegated teams. 12 points picked up, 12 dropped.
Also averaged 1.5 points per game against the bottom 7. 21 points picked up, 21 dropped.

The margins between success and failure are very fine. This season we could have done better for sure BUT spare a thought for our play-off opponents last season who have just gone out the League?
As Jimmy Greaves would say "It's a funny old game?".

Robins should of used the money he paid for Chaplin to sign a decent goalkeeper.

If he had then we would have finished in the playoffs.

You’re probably right. We could say the same thing about the amount of chances Luke Thomas hasn’t finished. A few by Hiwula too. Ifs, buts.

Back to the point though, I’ll be very disappointed if Chaplin is still here next season. I just can’t see what he adds.

As I have said before about that useless twat Burge he has cost us points but not as many as our prolific goal scorers and thats not trying to stick up for him either... we score more goals teams dont attack us so much makes flapper seem a better keeper......
I am astonished that Addai is still here because from what I have seen he is miles worse than Burge...out with the old in with the new

to be fair to Robins he had to replace McNulty late in the day and Burge was playing OK at the end of last season, (and the start of this one to be fair to him), in hindsight, you're probably right but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I now remember why I don’t miss away days.

Whilst the atmosphere was great, they way some go about creating it is debatable.

For 2 of our own wheelchair users to have to move just so they could see the game, one of who was clearly being stood in front of intentionally after asking one person to move which then turned into a bit of a game was disappointing but not surprising.

As for the ones who ran on to the pitch at full time; why? :emoji_shrug: What did you gain? What was your intention?

Then the one fan who caught the ball in the stand, only to walk down slowly towards their GK, sticking his middle finger up; wow! You’re hard! :emoji_rolling_eyes:

Yes the stewarding was questionable; the stewards didn’t know between them whether to stand still, try and stop fans, chase fans, create a divide between fans, but they shouldn’t have had to figure that out in the first place!

Sing your songs, have a laugh, but don’t act like fucking cockwombles!!

Happy Summer City fans!

In my bed in Doncaster Lakeside Travelodge I can honestly say the best thing about the day was the Popcorn chicken meal I've just had from KFC.

God, we were shit today.

We were right by them. God there are some right nightmares amongst our fan base. Anyone see the young girl at the end pushing and mouthing at a policeman?

Awful.

Fucking hell I can't take anymore of that clown in goal. On a side note, does anyone know why the ref gave them a free kick in the first half after their player picked the ball up? Bizzare day in many ways
