Another drag down, wasn’t expecting that! Pure anger at the end set the next episode up nicely

Daenerys need to barbecue her strategy team.... did no one think to send out a scout ahead seeing as they were returning to a home they’d left empty and that was literally down the coast from Kings Landing.....

Dany is gonna go batshit , I didn’t think Jaime would cop off with Brieanne ,
Brons cameo was good

I don't get what they expected rocking up with a few blokes. They can't use the dragon because of those massive arrows they fire so what exactly were they going to do? A few arrows later and they are all dead.

On the other hand, why didn't Cersei just wipe them all out there and then?

Took a lot for Greyworm to not react didn’t it.

Missandei was appearing less and less in the latter seasons anyway. Even though she was pretty much in arms length of Daenerys, you always felt an unexpected death was still likely. Euron is a complete bastard, can’t wait for him to die. Feel like the only way to kill Cersei is Arya playing her old face mask trick. Praise be to the Many Faced God for Jaqen H’ghar!

Also, why did they go by a couple of shitty little ships knowing full well that Cersei had much better ships?

The writing has gone to utter shit. The head writer said that Danerys simply forgot about the other ships. That's just lazy as fuck.

I thought the Bronn scene was rushed and for once I actually disliked the character. They built his loyalty to Tyrion and Jaimie up since season One and then ruin it by somehow sneaking him into Winterfell and threatening to kill them.

I know he's a cut throat by trade but his whole story arc has been leading towards some kind of redemption and now he's back to being a heartless c**t again.

Yeah he just seemed to stroll in and then out again.

Also, how did grey worm and varys crawl onto the beach from the boat but then appear around that big planning table which I assume was in the dragonplace?

The one thing that Cersai does have is a decent set of boats, don't rock up in some shit ones in broad daylight. If you want to use dragons then again just turn up when its pitch black and burn them all to bits.

Now Ayra has just done one again randomly and the wildlings are all going back, even though they need to go and take out Cersei and live happily ever after.

I was assuming it'd come to light that there was a rat (Varys) at the war council so Euron knew where to be and when to shoot down some dragons and sink a few boats. That would have been better

The beach was on Drgaonstone that's where they were almost at when he attacked.

Arya is on a mission to cross a certain Queen off her list.

Ah that makes sense why they all just rocked up in there like it was nothing!

Surely Ayra can just take out the queen's hand, get his face and stroll in and wipe her out as well?

Huge GoT fan, but I honestly thought that episode was shite.

I did watch it at 2am Sunday, so I might try it again to see if it was any better than I remember.

Ayra can fuck off. She can't keep getting all the big kills. I don't like her character. Smug moonface.

Also there's quite a good theory that Sansa told Cersei about Danerys crossing the sea.

I have to admit the series has been unbelievable up until season 8 and I feel like they’ve just wasted the 2 years .
A lot of what’s happening makes no sense , feels a bit rushed together and the writing feel awful worse than any season before it , I can’t imagine this is what GRRM had in mind for the final series , I still enjoy watching but it’s all gone a bit pear shaped for me

And also Wildfire although that appears to have been forgotten since the Battle of Blackwater?

not really. it has been discussed as a weapon for this series between cersei and Qyburn

I really like Qyburns character I think he and Cersei are plotting against Euron , did anyone else notice Danys eyes change colour during the episode ?

I thought she had blue eyes but at some point they were green

Sorry, just my opinion. Like I said, I am going to watch it again to see if it's better as I was knackered at the time.

But I just simply thought it wasn't good, the acting seemed well off as well at times. Opinion, not fact.

wrong opinion

the show is so good you could have 1 hour 20 episode of 1 charater going for a walk and it would be compelling.

no such thing as a bad episode. thats what seperates good tv shows from great tv shows

No it wouldn't, it would be boring like the never ending pitch black battle was.

I was waiting for the comedy moment where they stop to wipe their brow and then carry on like you have when something goes on for way too long.

last battle was epic. you must have a shit tv. i rewatched it and still cant understand how people moan. the only bits you couldnt see were done on purpose by the director

if you dont like it dont watch it. hating for sake of hating. miserable internet world.

If that's what you think, then that's your opinion.

I just think the whole series 8 has been underwhelming. I think I was looking forward to it too much, but it also feels rushed and amateur at times.
