Could potentially be a decent life out there (depending on where he is going). Get some sort of scholarship as well.
Yes but can he hack Boston on a Tuesday night in December

Not sure if MLS is a little better than league 1 as Newcastle have taken a punt on Atlanta United Miguel Almiron 20 millionDefinitely. The standard isn't that good, MLS top league is probably similar to League one on a good day, maybe even League two. So if you're a young player who is only going to make it at League two/League one level, why not go to the the highest league in North America and with average attendances of 25k+ with other benefits like scholarships etc.
Wow! That is huge, didn't see that. Not sure if MLS is a little better than league 1 as Newcastle have taken a punt on Atlanta United Miguel Almiron 20 million
Watched a game for the first time in a few years a couple of weeks back - it’s really fast paced and entertaining.MLS is only going 1 way and thats up
Used to have a friend who is bang average at football but went on a scholarship while studying forensics in the USA and loved it, got to play in front of thousands, came back and cant only play semi pro
if that's all you have to worry about in your life then you are a sad little bastard
Blimey - that’s over the top! And Sky Blue Harry H is one of my favorite posters!if that's all you have to worry about in your life then you are a sad little bastard
You mean before football turned into chess?I’ve been watching some old games on YouTube, great team at the time like Derby, Leeds, Liverpool etc with plenty of internationals, and what I noticed was the number of direct play, crosses into the area and most importantly headers and shots from all angles, something we don’t do anywhere near enough and that’s shoot or cross, seems to be all about keeping possession. Number of times we get into good attacking situations and the ball ends up back at our centre halves. We need to be more positive I my opinion.

I am very interested to see where Burge will end up having not even been offered a contract here
After all the "Championship Clubs after him" we didn't even try to keep him like we have with Willis.
They bought him in the Dec/Jan window and he's hardly featured.Wow! That is huge, didn't see that.
Games I've seen have been pretty poor standard though. I still think League one is right
PLAYERS OUT OF CONTRACT AND RELEASED:
Lee Burge
Jack Grimmer
Tom Davies
Liam O’Brien
Tony Andreu
Chris Camwell
Reece Ford
Billy Stedman
Stuart Beavon
CONTRACT OPTION EXERCISED:
Corey Addai
RE-ENGAGEMENT – ENTERED INTO NEGOTIATIONS/CONTRACT OFFERED:
Jordan Wills
Lewis Green
I am shocked on Addai it seems like a total waste of effort and money signing a bloke you don’t trust to play
He's played I think every game until he was ruled out for the rest of the season with an injury? They bought him in the Dec/Jan window and he's hardly featured.
No worries mate. Glad you re-read it !!sorry all, misread the comment.
Thought maybe Davies was worth an extension, but he didn't seem happy with his game time, and if this McFadzean deal is on the table, then we have that covered.
Obviously Burge is done. Don't think many will be upset about that. The writing was on the wall for him I think as soon as Robins said what he did about Stockdale while he was with us. Still keeping Addai, so does that mean we're only looking at getting in one goalkeeper and Addai will still be understudy?
