Okay. Let's try and keep off footie until the new season and think about what would be on your bucket list. I'm sure that if you are only in your 20's, 30's, 40's and maybe 50's then there are still a lot of things you'd like to do in your life. Older farts like me have probably done loads so our lists aren't as long. For example, I've climbed the highest peaks in the UK, I've driven coaches and lorries. Been a glass blower, undertaker and had security clearance to be airside at airports. Had a hazardous goods licence, been on TV, radio and met many celebrities in my time. Written a book, had 8 kids, got 17 grandkids, have one great-grandson. But there are still some things yet to see or do before I pop me clogs. My list of ten (in no particular order, and certainly not complete!), are:
Watch a live performance of Swan Lake.
See the Northern Lights.
Visit Rome.
Learn to speak fluent Italian.
See Madame Butterfly performed live on stage.
Increase my photography skills.
Eat at the Djemaa el Fna in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Do a Beatles tour of Liverpool.
Eat a snail. (Escargot).
Skydive.
