You've got to laugh, they're so desperate for people to attend they're trying to give free tickets to people protesting!

Agree sadly it was
At 24 hours notice with little support from the trust and no media coverage. Compared to the numbers on the last trust protest that was planned weeks in advance and was all over local media its not bad. Sure it would have been great if hundreds, or even thousands, of people had turned up but that was never really on the cards.

To be fair to Moz he did turn up and tried to whip up a few songs so hats of to him for that

Didn’t really add any names to faces. Other than Shepardo. But I already knew him anyway. We all love Shep!

Sorry but I still expected more as did most people I spoke to who went

The problem is it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy - wasps fans will now believe we are the odd mad extremists and all other supporters are of the opinion the council and wasps have nothing to answer for

Really it’s a Saturday afternoon so most people should be able to go

Heard Wasps fans chuckling at the numbers. ..... we have fans who like to moan but take no action.... where we’re all the young guns.

Average age must have been 50!!!! No offence peeps

If we are out of the ground then next time we need to be far more organised and get significantly higher numbers committed.

Even if that’s when they start next season in October we have to do better - we need media awareness and we need 300 minimum - then we can make some statement

At least it's a rare occasion nowadays I can bring the average age down, then.

Solution to that is to follow it up with something else with more numbers. This seems to have started bringing people together so lets hope the likes of the trust see that and build on it.

For example why not organise a CCFC event for a Saturday in the summer. Again something non confrontational, for all the family. Get the likes of SBITC along as they have stuff for kids.

We all knew deep down that over 100 people said they’d appear on other social media sites, that we’d get a turnout exactly like we did. Deflating all the same. I get people all have lives and other more important things to deal with, and that notice was maybe a little late, but how come we have such an apathetic fan base?

Is there a way of getting on the Trust Board? It’s a serious question - I’ve left work and I have a lot of skills in terms of negotiating - oddly I’m kind of energised now

They do have elections every now and then. I think tbh they're often short of volunteers, too!

Go to next meeting and put yourself forward I might even vote for you for the comedic value if nothing else

How reassuring but surely the vote should be an online vote if every member not those who attend a specific meeting?

Nice to put a few faces to forum names.
On the one hand it was disappointing but on the other it was better than not bothering.
Might have been better with a bit more notice but there you go.
And I got to meet some SBT legends and have a pint with NW!
