I was half flippant but, the more this goes on, the more I feel I may just have to write to the Telegraph as their source checking is, well... non-existent.

Do it

Also as many football boards can have trust representatives surely you can have a board member that represents the views of the biggest fans forum - Sky Blue Talk

A sub forum dedicated to the trust could be created and the elected member can then take questions from the forum and relay this at board meetings

Likewise information from the trust can be communicated back

There is no law at all that prevents this. It’s democracy in action

I’m sure Nick would allow elections to take place in here and monitor the results and declare the outright winner for election.

Tony why do you resent this approach?

PSB Group will offer Wasps sympathy, saying how welcoming and refreshing it is and loads of people will start tweeting 'NEVER GOIN AGEN UNTIL SISU LEAVE! #SISUOUT' .
Before the meeting there needs to be pressure on them to not do that and to not let Eastwood just give PR answers like he does with the Telegraph and CWR. If he comes out with bollocks challenge him on it and don't let him off until there's a satisfactory answer. If he refuses to answer make that known publicly.

He's had an easy ride for far too long.

The question to the telegraph is did any of the CCFC supporters that attended last Saturday then attend the wasps game? The indications are not from what I’ve read here.

So, if they didn’t and the reporter in question made that up that’s disgusting and shameful reporting.

If.... a CCFC supporter did attend (I don’t believe they did) then that’s simply misguided and out of sync with the vast majority of supporters.

Either way the telegraph needs to be taken to task on it however we all know where the telegraphs loyalties sit and it’s not with CCFC.

I tweeted the telegraph last Saturday to inform them that wasps fans (and quite a few of them) were intact mocking us protesting when walking past. I’m not sure why the telegraph and trying to spin it that wasp fans were perfect

Only heard one of them do that, the rest were supportive.

Yes, same here. Only saw the one Wasps fan mocking the situation and I am almost certain no-one went to the Wasps game.

I think the CT have just put two and two together and picked up on the notion of Wasps fans OFFERING tickets.

Plenty mocked it on the forum

I only saw one openly mocking but a few smiling ..... could have been mockery but equally could have been wind. Few wanted to chat but I couldn’t be arsed to engage because the ones I’ve spoken to in the past seem to have little grasp of the situation and why it’s so desperate for us..... but that’s what you get when you support a transient club who’s fans barely bat an eyelid at being moving around the country. Nobody went in the stadium....the excitement and atmosphere would have been too much.

Most of the worst have “from Cov” in their username. One accused the protest of using foul and abusive language
What is wrong with these people.... I’ll always try and defend Fellow Cov kids but these muppets are plain embarrassing.

So Eastwood is meeting fans after the “protest” last Saturday. Firstly, well done on all who attended.
Now it may just be the exact PR that he wanted that has fell into his lap at the perfect time, but until the meeting takes place we do not know.
It seems because of the mess we find ourselves in at the minute that people have picked sides, not rocket science if you trawl through several threads on here.
Now If the anti-Sisu agenda is on the table (which it undoubtedly will be) at the meeting with Eastwood, is it not time to then take that to Sisu (more likely Tim Fisher) and then Duggins and get a meeting set up with them too? Again, might just be the PR needed but also may uncover a few truths instead of just more speculation and people picking sides?

I’d love to know who went into the wasps match after the demo? A cricket bat between there legs along with being named and shamed would be about a just reward.
I was with my two kids and chatting with Otis, Irish and I think, Tony. The kids had been itching to leave as soon as we had arrived and announcing our departure at around 3.50, I said, "We'd better be off now or we'll miss kick off". Cue my mock horror at being rumbled face. I can categorically state that I have never and will never, watch a w&$@s game.
I wonder if that light hearted quip has caused this mini witch hunt?
I will be renewing my ST at BPA tho.

Yep. It was me. I recorded your quip and forwarded it to the CT newsdesk as hot off the press news.

There's a picture on Twitter, retweeted by PSB Group, of a Cov fan in the ground. Suspect that's it, but said fan wasn't at the protest!

Well, I can vouch

I remember you. You were the one with his kids all dressed in Wasps getup;)

It’s going to be the mystery bloke in a Wasps top and City scarf.... he def didn’t do the protest. Fecker.... I should’ve took him out in Tesco car park with a Nickesque 2 footed tackle.

It's pretty obvious what will happen. He will say some nice things about how he wants the football club to stay but the owners are just completely unreasonable and you can't work with them. PSB Group will offer Wasps sympathy, saying how welcoming and refreshing it is and loads of people will start tweeting 'NEVER GOIN AGEN UNTIL SISU LEAVE! #SISUOUT' . It's the easiest bit of PR going and it will be hilarious/depressing in equal measure watching it happen.
Well I was hopeful but it looks like you were right.

What they're saying makes no sense at all. If Eastwood has told them details of the talks that can't be revealed due to the confidentially agreement then he has broken that agreement. If he hasn't then there's no details that PSB group can't pass on to the rest of us.

The only other option is they've signed a confidentiality agreement themselves to not reveal anything from the meeting which would be absolute crazy.

They won't have been told anything of importance but they will have been asked at the start of the meeting not to comment before clearing it with wasps. All a waste of time, just PR and making a few fans feel good

And that's the point at which they should have walked away and informed other supporters that Eastwood had tried to put conditions on his offer to meet.

How predictable.
Posted on here what I sent to them.
Absolutely no response what so ever. Relevant people still in chat from what i can see.
Think also that before their suggestion of Wasps action, they were heavily SISU out too... so it was a surprise...
As you were then it seems.... :-(
