We’ll be playing Sundays if we go there. They won’t allow us and villa to be at ‘home’ on the same day.

Don’t we also need a plan to return to coventry????!
That’s my point though Pete, I personally can’t see that as an option if we end up groundsharing somewhere. The council will continue to put up stumbling blocks to build a new stadium and the Ricoh will continue to not be an option. The only hope is either Wasps are trying to play poker or the commission throw the complaint out.

Morally they shouldn't. But I'm really concerned for the future of the club if some sort of solution isn't found.

The only way I could accept indemnifying them is if it came with a share of the Ricoh, either now (at a reduced cost) or in the event of us having to bail them out.

it would be a very bitter pill to swallow but if the figure being banded about to play at St. Andrews are true, (and I appreciate they may not be), then I don't see how the club can sustain being there for very long if it is the gorund share option we have agreed header terms for.
I can't see anything coming to fruition with regard the EC complaint for a good while any way, so at least the clubs stays alive for a few more years.

Well, if you were running a PR campaign and you wanted the club to stay at the Ricoh, what sort of rumour would you spread?...

Yep. Totally prepared to accept I've fallen for it!
But if it is true I just can't see how we can sustain going there if the numbers are true and I suspect they're not far away, can't see blues doing it if it's not worth it.

It's gone under the radar that the same source about St Andrews was the same person going on about starting Coventry Hornets if CCFC have to move with Hoffman and his rich rugby club owner investor.

I'm still of the opinion the ball is firmly in WASP court if a deal is to be acheived.
As desperate as CCFC is, WASP will not come out of this well if they lose us.

They are financially strapped as it is, and CCFC provides footfall, rent and other sundry cost that they can't afford to let go. Sponsorship deals and many other factors are affected in the short term for WASP if we are not there as a tennant. If the EC in and even further court action in say 3 years from now goes against WASP there will be no sympathy for them keeping hold of their Ricoh lease under it's current terms.
Keeping the City's football club on side and not helping to destroy it would hold some water when the ownership of CCFC changes.

They want us to play there they said, so find a way to compromise with the present atrocious owners of CCFC.

It's up there with that weird bloke who claims to be from Australia telling everybody to support Cov Utd instead and NOPM.

Strange how Johnson is the one who keeps strangely pushing the Phoenix Club stuff and is an ex director of Cov Utd.
