Lol, what a prat.
Mind you if you work for the independent you are just a glorified blogger anyway.

Left wing hypocrites at it again
Struggles to answer , he'd be professionally offended like the left always are in reality

The ones who seem most upset and offended on this forum are ‘the right’. They’re pretty good at showing hypocrisy as well and now seem happy to vote for a party with IRA sympathisers.
Disagree, I think there seems to be a sliding scale of what is acceptable. As much as I cannot stand forage or tommy etc I don’t think it’s right. I am sure they can get their point across without throwing things at people, surely they are better than that?

People have been trying to get their point across for over three years but just get called “elitist” and “know it alls” and have slogans shouted at them. I’d imagine it’s as much an act of frustration as a lack of will for civilised debate.

I hate all this 'left' 'right' nonsense.

I really wish people would stop lazily grouping and lumping people together.

I am the so called 'left', though would not label myself as such. I don't recognise any of these character breakdowns that are being bandied about.

I have said before, I try and treat everyone as a individual and each and every person on their own individual merits.

There is far too much labelling going on in the world at the moment, and too and it's same with gender identity and INFJ etc.

Lazy stereotypes.

Brexit seems to very much have heightened all the leftie nonsense.

Otis, you’re absolutely right. Populists rely on pitting is against each other for their own ends though and it’s unfortunate people are walking right into their trap.

What annoys me is how as ‘the left’ we’re responsible for the actions of everyone on our side yet ‘the right’ have a hissy fit when parallels are drawn to Hitler or an instance of racial abuse if pointed out. “Oh you’re saying we’re all racists!?”

It seems the way of the world unfortunately. Even in our small time disputes regarding CCFC we have a split fan base. It's now almost impossible to have a rounded view on any subject without being called either a SISU apologist or a council/Wasps lover!

I completely agree that throwing milkshakes etc. is wrong. Even if it's Farage or Robinson, the law is the law, and it's counterproductive to allow these buffoons to paint themselves as victims.

However I won't be lectured on hypocrisy by anyone who supports the right wing nutters, racists and fascists that support Robinson and his ilk.

They back the law so much that they can't wait to have a scrap with the police when they get a chance, and routinely threaten, intimidate and abuse anyone (but especially for Robinson, journalists) who dare to challenge their views.

If I've learned one very important lesson from the past few weeks and something that is of actual benefit, it's that Five Guys do a salted caramel milkshake. Fuuuuuuuuuuck

Not sure how I feel about that.

"Do you fancy five guys tonight?" doesn't quite roll off the tongue.

It is laughable when followers of the politics of hate enjoy making a victim of the mouthpieces of the politics of hate when someone responds with hate towards the hatred. The way some are going on on social media you would think throwing milkshake over someone makes them Anders Breivik.

Whilst I disagree with what he says, you sound like the one professionally offended.

Incredible how little fuss there has been over that compared to the Farage milkshake incident.

Where does it mention hate crime?

The rhetoric is very different and you know it

Not really. When it is the left attached it’s suddenly a hate crime - strange how the coverage becomes so different

Brexit supporter who hit Jeremy Corbyn with egg is jailed

You read the article you've linked you didn't you? It's just that the judge involved seemed to quite clear that it was threats against all MPs' safety that needed to be dealt with.

The bloke wasn't sent to prison because he attacked someone from the 'left', it was because he attacked a politician...

Of course it doesn't help when one side of the debate starts using language like 'betrayal of democracy' and 'traitors'. To those of small mind, that can used to justify almost anything (even murder).

No need for milkshakes, this is how to deal with Farage, Robinson and their ilk

now appears that this may nor be all it seems to be. Fella who owns a shop where it happened checked his CCTV and reckons it's staged, we'll see.
What a state of affairs, morons throwing milk shakes and potentially morons staging the throwing of milkshake.
What the fuck is happening to this country?

It appears the guy that posted about it being fake is himself fake!! What ever happened to just telling the truth?!
