I would be astounded if we pulled this one off. He played a fair few games for Everton last season and he's a regular in the England U21 set up. Not sure where this rumour has come from though as this Twitter page is one of the few that aren't absolutely full of it.

Based on the way Robins conducts his business we can basically discount any rumoured signings, they always seem to be completely at random.

There's a couple of links in there that I've heard to be true. E.g. Norwood to Ipswich, Bogle to Portsmouth, Doyle to Swindon. So I'm guessing they source the majority of their info from the press or online as most of these accounts do (apart from those who make stuff up). Kenny has been linked also with a permanent switch to Crystal Palace or Burnley though so again, not sure where this rumour would've come from. Doubt there's anything in it but you never know.

Some interesting names being linked. Not sure if truth in any of them but if it's an indication of the level of player we are looking at then it's quite exciting (although pretty sure someone who has played 29 times in the premier league over the last 2 years is out of our league).

Meyler was a special situation, he'd been frozen out at Reading and was clearly very unfit. Wouldn't surprise me if he played in the Championship next season and played well. Think he was a few years removed from the Premier League too, and not a young lad like Kenny who is starting to break through.

I couldn't see us signing Bright and McNulty, not only would that mean we've got Man City's budget but they wouldn't fit in a starting 11 together and I doubt wither would want to come and sit on the bench.

Follower count doesn't necessarily guarantee authenticity. The John Harroitt bogus account has got thousands of followers, yet whoever runs the account spouts pure nonsense that isn't based on anything.
At least the majority of links are fairly realistic with this account.

You'd hope but there's still a fair few on here that still think he's genuine, so I assume there's more than a fair few of his followers that believe his nonsense on Twitter.
Regardless, as I said to you yesterday some of the links I've browsed on the EFL account are genuinely true so I'm sure some bare weight but it's difficult to vouch for them all as none of us know who the account holder is - plus it's not like it backs up the rumours with any evidence. It could be absolutely anyone who's picking up links online or using comments from hopeful fans spouting their desired targets throughout the Twittersphere.

I'd be sceptical about the link. I noticed last night that the EFL Hub account claimed we'd received bids off a number of clubs for Jodi Jones. It's now deleted the tweet after getting absolutely roasted. That obviously doesn't mean the whole account is bollocks but take the links with a pinch of salt as whilst some might come from legitimate sources, I can guarantee some also will be pulled out of thin air.

Could be worth a contract on a free career seems to be going the wrong direction was on loan to Mansfield in league two but maybe robin's coaching could get him firing again?
