Plenty of street parking around the ground - just like there was at Highfield Road where there were no parking facilities at the ground. There is also secure parking a 15 minute walk from St Andrew's. Street parking around Highfield Road never caused a problem, even in the 1960's where crowds were around 30,000.

Yes, you're right.

There were about 10 million cars on the UK's roads in the mid 1960's and there are now 38.2 million.
I can remember queuing at Cashes Lane every game to get onto the Foleshill Road, then Eagle Street and parking in the side streets off Harnell Lane East if we didn’t leave home by 1.30 you would be late and it was 3.15 kick-offs in those days.

We used to park in either Hugh Road or Bolingbroke Road or Westminster Road.
