For a party with a hardcore stance on drugs they seem to be quite fond of them. But to want that job you'd have to be off your tits.

So who's next and what've they taken?

Andrea Leadsom to claim, as a mother, she's a heroine then to clarify says she took heroin and dropped an E?
Sajid JACCCIIIIIIDDDD!!!!
Boris must done ketamine cos he sounds like a horse most of the time
Esther McVey to reveal she was a Spice girl?
I'm disappointed Gove was coke, cos I wanted him to become Magic Mushroom Mike.

Leadsome too now. Apparently Boris tried coke but it made him sneeze so he didn’t actually snort it back.

So who do we want as our next PM? A coke head, a skag head or a pot head. As the Sunday mirror said, the Tory leadership contest has gone to pot.

We had a prime minister who put his cock in a pigs head and look how well that went.

I see Boris is once again proving to be a man of the people Johnson pledges higher rate income tax cut

On the day the BBC says it can no longer guarantee free TV licences for the over 75s.
I still the cap dogging forelock tugging subservient fuck wits that are the British public will swallow everything they're fed by the right wing media and vote them in

Must do them some good, Gove's coming across as one of the more sane ones.

Who's laughing now!

Oh, and tax dodger Lorraine Kelly's response to whether she remembered working with Esther McVey was highly entertaining!

Why should all over 75s get them free?

I’ve never really considered senior teachers and nurses to be higher earners

What do you think is the purpose of raising the threshold for the higher tax band while doing nothing to help people receiving tax credits?

I’m not massively in favour of it but I’d assume to appeal to an overlooked section of society that’s screwed on tax as if they are rich

Are they screwed on tax?
The threshold was raised in the last couple of years.
I think the money could have been better spent or even left in the Brexit pot that it was originally set aside for.
We're still in austerity so it would be a crude gesture by Johnson.

I think he’s assuming he’ll get through to the final two candidates and setting his stall out with a policy that will appeal to the members.

People who are on tax credits are highly unlikely to be the average Tory Party member. People earning over £50K a year on the other hand. It’s a clear and unashamed attempt to buy votes from party members should he make the final 2 and be put before your average party member.

Only about 20% of teachers would fall into that bracket to begin with, and the tax saving would be so minimal as you would be talking about the tax rate change applying to only £2/3K of their earnings in the majority of those cases.
