Almost halfway to target in three days.

What would the target get you MMJ?

I just set it at a level I didn’t think we would get too but if we did get there then it’s enough for 8 sets of 1 Adult and 1 under 13 JSB membership/ST with £220 spare to help with travel, match tickets etc.
The donations had slowed but then yesterday exploded again so it’s nice to see it moving upwards to help others.

We currently have enough for 4 full sets.

Thank you everyone for every donation.

What did we club together last year?

After the charges we had
What did we club together last year?
we managed to get £1,750 before the charges, think we managed to help 5 families including the free one from the club and then I purchased and extra one for a family which started it really.
We also donated £125 to the family zone to help them run that as we didn’t get more nominations.

Have you had anybody for nominations etc yet? Thats the hardest part. :(

I’ve posted a link to this thread on my FB saying if people know of someone worthy to look here (as well as a link to the GoFundMe), Id suggest those with a bigger social media reach do the same.

It's just a bit awkward as I can understand people may not feel comfortable with sharing their issues or wanting charity. It's just finding a way to sort it :)

Yeah it would be good if there was a form or something people could fill in that goes straight to MMJ. I could knock up a google form later if that would help?

Have our favourite snoopers the telegraph picked up on this yet as they could put something in their rag or are good news stories only allowed for their London friends?

Can we try and keep this free from politics?

More a question as I don’t read the paper thought it would be a good way to spread the word to people who don’t use social media but might want to donate.

One nomination so far, one of those we helped last year and it meant so much to his two boys and himself, that form looks great, I am happy that nominations go to Nick or direct to you shmeeee, we shared them via email last year and assessed them, it keeps elements separate so people realise it’s all above board and not just their to fun me.

Yeah I’m happy to manage the responses. Just poke me if you need anything using the SBT messaging thing.

Can you add the link to OP?

I’ve added a bit making it clear it’s all confidential so hopefully that puts people’s minds at ease.

Good old Coventry Live - Could have put a link in to help increase the funds but some profile to hopefully help if people can read it in between the adverts.
If you click on GoFundMe in the second paragraph it takes you to the right page.

Thought Bobby Bridge, who wrote the piece, was the Telegraph rugby reporter?
