Here he is, king of the nutters!! come on say it, I’m waiting .......”desperate” is it or what’s the other classic “it’s too obvious”
I don't think anything needs to be said, just reading your posts in this thread is enough.

Thanks ;)

I really don’t see why the trust aren’t just honest about what they want - it’s like Corbyn on the referendum

They want Hoffman, they want a deal with wasps and they see Hoffman with wasps as the preferred outcome

I don’t but if they do fine - just admit it

It’s pretty clear how they chose to align themselves. Admitting it would be declaring they don’t align with the greater fan base. And that, would lose them their voice in the press (who somehow still perceive them as a viable voice).

Hmmm. Only if you head towards Ealing! I'll grant you I haven't been there for a while, but affluent was certainly pushing the envelope!

Anyway, wrt CCFC and a stadium, what is unreasonable about the workings given out here? I'd like to know, just for my own judgement. Isn't this just coming up with a ballpark average? What I see, really, is an opening up for discussion on a new stadium.

Now, in that spirit, I always get annoyed when football clubs boil down to finances. Personally I think for reasons of identity, easy brand values, and a sense of place, a stadium of our opwn is an absolute must.

if, however, SISU are determined to pursue Plan A, it's not entirely unreasonable to ask them for something more than 'we're going to build a new stadium' is it? Just a *little* meat on the bones would be nice!

And funding is a very real consideration. If I'm not to take at face value Hoffman's 'we've got the funds, honest' takeover approach, it also applies for SISU and a stadium, in my view.

I can’t say I turned right off the M4 in the direction of the ground but certainly turning left it seemed a nice area of London, not Park Lane or Chelsea by any stretch but certainly not a hole. I guess the emphasis should have been on up and coming rather than affluent. The car dealers were BMW and Mercedes IIRC amongst others and all multi-storey show rooms so you can look into them while driving along that high rised section at the end of the M4 and the new stadium is sat just behind them also visible from the M4 so I guess there’s a good opportunity for selling advertising like Walsall do.

It’s definitely isn’t unreasonable to ask for more than we’re going to build a stadium. This time just as last time it was plan A I’m immediately reminded of the Ricky Gervais gag about how he gets annoyed with people when they claim Leonardo Da Vinci invented the helicopter, drawing a picture of something and going that will work isn’t inventing anything and Da Vinci would have broke down under questioning. Which also seems the only argument for not questioning SISU when they say that they’re going to build a new stadium.

I haven’t read all of this post because to be quite honest I can’t be arsed.
What I do know is that the trust is embarrassing.
I’ll admit, when they first started years ago, I signed up thinking that it may get us somewhere.
Over the years they have done some good things such as organising the march through the city when we were playing at Northampton.
But to be quite honest now I am sick and tired of it. The same faces on TV, the inconsistent approach, the pointless meetings where nothing is actually discussed and no outcome/objective is achieved.
I don’t know the trust people personally but to come out with this £52 million statement is simply embarrassing.
I don’t doubt they want us to stay in Coventry like we all do, but it’s time they realised that they are a very, very small player in all of this.
Rant over.

Now ,that is clearest case of irony I have ever heard
Go on then, show us the media exposure we get.

This place might be a bunch of butter but we’re not wheeled out to the general public as the voice of fans. We’re clearly not, they’re clearly not. Looking into the point, however small, past sisu out is impossible for you and your pals.

All this bullshit from CJ about him not being involved. 6 people going for 6 positions. Banana republics are run better.

They’ll say no one else stood - however when you know that these people are standing there is no point. We need collectively to get a motion together that’s discussed - namely a no confidence vote in these people and ensure there are enough of us there to just close this group down before it does some serious damage

If true this is a disgrace.
One sided agendas, and quite rude to posters on twitter too!
How can this be allowed from a group claiming to represent the fans!?
Bet the telegraph would love to cover this!!! :-/ :-0
They have no interest in representing fans.

Look how many times they have pushed the season ticket fund, radio silence.

Then compare it to a random fans group Roger Ellis is part of that nobody gives a shit about or Blackpool.

The gofundme has brought together so many fans, me and people like schmeee disagree on everything but on this are 100 percent behind it and putting everything we can to help. Same with the massive range of people donating and help pushing it, all different views but fully behind it.

Who's been negative? One of the trust board saying it's seppalla giving herself a grand and radio silence from the trust account.

Yes 100% agree! What can be done to stop them from gaining the access to the media that they currently have. They are the default go to group and it is so frustrating when I see them being interviewed regarding our current plight.
Totally agree with what you have said regarding the crowdfunder. Looking on their twitter feed is embarrassing.
Is there any way that there can be a vote on here regarding them not being fit for purpose?
If that vote turns out to democratically to say so, can you, as forum representative contact all accessible media outlets to ask not to go to them for comment?
Just a thought...not sure how viable or even credible that would be....

They'll do no damage as they'll disappear further up their own arse. Let's face it the board is full of ex council Cov or otherwise, they cannot see the wood for the trees.

Yikes. How do we ever expect to be taken seriously with people like that on the board.

Step one - withdraw membership? Dwindle the numbers.
If those twitter accounts do belong to board members then it is very worrying.

Ha ha they are even re-tweeting that muppet CW and some of his tweets slagging me off

It really should be a yearly renewal. Shouldn't be that you paid a quid over a decade ago so are still a member.

Bet the membership numbers would be nowhere near as high if that was the case.

Oh yeah, they know full well who he is. Seem pretty close to him.

They aren't even trying to hide things nowadays, it's far too blatant. The issue is that they assume people are thick as fuck and just listen to them.

Indeed. Loads signed up during Northampton move. They've now got the claim of largest supporters group to get voice in media.

did you stand ?

Is that going to be the standard reply? "Did you stand?"

What would be the point in standing? Please explain.

How many meetings with those people do you think people would last?

Stand for what? When the whole board is anti ccfc if you are a loan voice that is what you are.

I wonder how many will go to games next year and how many will be "boycotting"?

At least David Johnson won't have to think of made up excuses to give to people this year. It's funny though as he made a statement saying he was done with CCFC the other week.
