Disappointing that a board member wont interact with a large CCFC community to discuss better relations going forward. Very narrow minded.

CJ/Moz...I know you're not directly involved anymore but it would be interesting to get your views on this latest development.

Surely we should all be working together for the good of the club?

I suspect Neil is reading this thread...disappointing Neil.

CJ is still involved. He's the only one left with any credibility.

Les Reid has took enough shit off the council lot and the trust lot. He’s allowed one act of shithousery like what he’s just done surely

I think it's probably relevant. Shows Neil has preconceived ideas of people on here and probably never had any intention of actually engaging.

Why do we just start a trust that actually represents ccfc fans of all stripes

Ironic that he is claiming it’s due to “
cloak of anonymity combined with multiple Twitter account”

So how many fake account are on the trust board or friends of the trust ?

Will be interesting to see if there's any response from the Trust. Don't see how you can have a board member openly abusing supporters on twitter and refusing to meet with anyone whose opinion differs to his.

He worked for Trinity Mirror, publishers of the Cov Telegraph, as editor of the Derby Telegraph. He's now a 'media consultant' although if the way he's acted on this is anything to go by he would be the last person I'd be wanting advise from.

Yes I made a “personal attack” I.e a tweet against the departing CT editor which Neil took great offence to as he’s s great guy and I don’t know him

I’m going to compile the data against the comments and put conclusions based from the comments. The sample size is legitimate and you can show biased behaviour swings as soon as the first few games are complete to tbd real killer poll questions.

I’ll put in on here then get to the trust post approval on here.

If needs be I’ll then to the media discussion - I’m really fine at handling it - the one real issue is I am an individual and the perception is the trust have thousands of members and all they need to do is get Neil out and I’m a flat earth crackpot.

There are certain procedures which we need to follow or we fall into a Fly Trap
Put the final draft on here and get people to approve it in a yes/no poll. That should give names and numbers. I'm happy to post my real details to Nick if there's any issue of identity. Happy to also confirm I'm a trust member who would not renew my membership if it was reset as suggested elsewhere

I'm guessing he's jus taken offense at someone having a go at a friend. Can't pretend I wouldn't have stuck up for a friend if someone said something against them I didn't like. No reason not to meet you though.

You're right about sticking up for a friend but he's a fool if he ignores the Twitter poll and the stuff Grendel is putting together and still thinks he can bring unity to the support base.
It's still early days for the new board of which he is only one member so too early to write them off yet but the early signs aren't encouraging based on his performance so far.

“You have done nothing to show wasps and the council in their true light. Good riddance” - that’s a diatribe I gather

Also he’d already accused me of refusing to give details as to who I am, said I’d insulted him - when I said I hadn’t he said my friends insulted him. My friends being people on my follow list. I pointed some of the insults I’d been receiving from some of his “friends” and I couldn’t care less - this he then claimed I’d admitted it’s ok to insult him

Oh and of course he told me to go and enjoy some court cases and I’m either frank or Les and Nick is the other one.

It’s funny. He says he doesn’t like social media as people act in a rude way!

He is acting like a victim so that people jump in to back him up. It's pretty obvious really.

Wonder if he had an issue with people being rude when he was giving it the "Frank or Les" big bollocks because he thought that would work or when he was trying to make out I wasn't a real CCFC fan because I hadn't met him? Maybe the time he was saying people who use forums and social media have no credibility?

Is that the tweet that has caused him to throw all his toys out of the pram? Would say that's factually accurate and good riddance is hardly the insult of the century that warrants cutting off all communication, even if it had been aimed directly at him.

Maybe he had no intention of ever meeting. Made an offer assuming Grendel would say no and is using this as a convenient excuse to back out.

He's clearly out of his depth as he has shown on twitter in the last few days he doesn't have a grasp on the basic facts of what has gone on between CCFC, CCC and Wasps. Perhaps he's realised that and / or seen the feedback on here is not what he expected.

Have to say I didn't have high expectations when he was added to the board just from a quick look at his twitter feed but hoped that in an official capacity, and with his background, he might be a worthwhile addition.

But how it has played out is worse than I could have possibly imagined. Immediately started throwing insults at fans who didn't agree with him, bringing out the Tim and Les line which got him lots of likes from the likes of salop888, the way he's handled this with Grendel and the messages where he refers to fans as idiots. In any other organisation you'd be expecting a resignation or firing.

It winds me up when people decide because someone disagrees with them they must be someone else. There can't be more than one person who disagrees. It's ridiculous. I had someone on twitter accuse me of using a fake name, despite me using my full name on Twitter and it being one you are unlikely to make up.

The naivety shown in the last week by those who turned up at that meeting has been astounding.

I find this post strange, because if you had actually read any of our comments on here about the meeting, you would see that we have stated time and again that the trust actions going forward will prove if they have taken note, or not, of the points raised. Hardly naive.

We have said that with a new guy at the helm, it's an opportunity for them to change, not that they will. The response we got from the meeting was mostly positive, but then this Neil White wasn't there.

In summary, your post is pathetic, maybe you should have turned up and then we could have gotten your feedback....twat.. ;)

Wasn't this the meeting where they were going to unveil the new board? Did they ever confirm who was on the board, CJ made a comment on there that Kalns wasn't but has there been an actual announcement?

Constant “see what they do. See what they do” I’ve seen over the last 8 years what they do.

Want to buy some magic beans?

Yet you went to the trouble of posting some suggestions for them on here...

and you think you've got magic beans... blimey, you're in a worst state than I thought...

They introduced David E as the new chairman, and said that Kalns had been told not to apply. Can't recall if they mentioned the others tbh, but their web site doesn't seem to show the full board, or an announcement, or even that Moz has stepped down...

He also ignores Bayern's dominance being down to the economic distortion caused in all of Europe's top leagues by the European equivalent to the Premier League which is the Champions League.

Bayern are where they are because they have a massively effective commercial operation which allows them to dwarf Dortmund's takings despite similar crowds. Same as United, it wasn't thanks to an oil baron wanting to buy a sport

I know they voted against Kalns rejoining the board and that there are 2 vacancies.

Is it any wonder that people don't turn up after they've previously tried to engage but been ignored?

The Trust has a core of council sympathizers with an agenda against SISU. Neil won’t entertain anyone on this forum. Nothing will change. You can turn up, they will entertain you over half a shandy...but when it comes down to real change, they will continue to put everyone with an opposing view ‘on ignore.’

Past history shows you are probably right. The changes they've had is an opportunity to improve things, but I wouldn't put money on it happening.

Indeed. What I do know is if you set yourself up in opposition and don't try to build relationships... you're SISU.
