Indeed. What I do know is if you set yourself up in opposition and don't try to build relationships... you're SISU.

Or the sky blue trust

I will complete this after the first game. I want to see the crowd and compare it to last seasons to assess one of the poll results against it.

Not though given Neil’s twitter overdrive today I’m holding out any hope.

Somebody should really have a word with him, he is doing the Trust no favours which they actually need.

I will start if I can to put the poll result headlines on twitter first to gauge response. The response numbers are good - over 200 on one poll - if it’s al ignored then we may as well just give up

If he thinks - as he implied - that the EFL should have handed the share to Haskell and Hoffman at the last admin regardless of the actual administrative process we are without hope

Is he starting fires again...?

It looks that way.

Strangely seems to think he knows everything about everything but as soon as he engages what he says is completely flawed and resorts to making extremes up to deflect away from it.

ie

"Wasps should be pressured"
"So everything is Wasps fault?"

That time is reasoned debate you would expect from a 12 year old. It's just a constant attempt to try and spin everything and misdirect.

Honestly ( and very sadly) don't hold much hope that the trust is/will be in the slightest bit "reformed" or change their bias.
Dave Eyles first comment in the Telegraph article shows they are still the media's first port of call. However, he did mention all involved... but guess he had to.
I do know Dave from school, all be it a long time ago, he is a really nice guy and I hope he can turn the trust around from it's current perception and that they can actually start building pressure in what most people know are the most obvious and relevant areas.
However...when he has David Johnson buddying up to him on facebook, this new Neil guy being a Wally on twitter and Tim Kalns still getting involved if anybody breathes the wrong way about CCC/wasps then I really hope he can be a strong leader!
Still telling that I replied to tweet retweeted by PSB group ( who should ne renamed PLW group) and the people who got involved were Lies (who insulted me hiding behind blocking me!) CW, Bedrock Wasp and James Alexander!!
Dave has a lot to do to turn this round... if that is his intention!

I've tried to stop commenting on twitter, waste enough of my day on here! Couldn't help myself though when one of his tweets appears on my feed.

The same old thing about the EFL and if we had another owner we'd be able to play at the Ricoh. I replied, politely I would add, suggesting the trust apply some pressure to Wasps.

His réponse was that its not for the Trust to do that, they should only pressure SISU. If we want to pressure Wasps we should do it ourselves. He's now telling Grendel to start his own trust.

It's no different at all to be before, he's just a polite version of Fisherbaiter.

I understand he made a faux pas about the Wasps atmosphere and catering, but not sure why Neil seems to be the only person getting it in the neck? He tweeted something fairly innocuous about an ex work colleague today and it was retweeted into something negative.
Perhaps because he is seen as a twat.

Where are these tweets chief? I don't use twitter, but am tempted to have a look if that's what he's saying

He sounds like he needs reminding of the Trust's objectives.

The Trust’s Aims are to:
  • To build and maintain membership of the Trust;
  • To secure supporter involvement in the ownership and management of the club;
  • To advocate financial stability for CCFC, with a business model based on avoiding unsustainable debt, and profits being reinvested directly in the Club;
  • To have City fans recognised as the lifeblood of the Club and at the heart of everything CCFC does.
To achieve these Aims the Trust will:
  • seek to work in partnership with the Club and all other stakeholders in CCFC;
  • represent and give voice to the views of Trust members;
  • pursue any viable opportunity to gain an ownership stake in CCFC;
  • campaign for improvements to the match day experience.

At the trust meeting, one of their main objectives was to get the Sky Blues playing in Coventry. Strange he only sees SISU as the obstacle to making that possible..

No idea, it's a bit random.

It's as if he hasn't even seen the notes from the meeting you and OSB went to.

Or is just ignoring them.. I wonder if he has discussed all these things he's tweeting with the trust board.

He says he will meet me as long as he knows my name. The fact there without ID I could pick any name seems odd and as I’ll say my name if I shake his hand as I do if I meet anyone is even odder

You're the easiest one to find out on this board anyway, if he really wanted to!

I do find that all very odd indeed, and he loses any hope of carrying an argument along as long as he keeps that up.

I think the issue is that he doesn't actually have an argument or anything to come back with other than that.

He seems very unwilling to engage in actual discussions.

I'd say it's more a rather old-fashioned way of looking at things.

But... he's in a ground, surrounded by people. I suppose Grendel *could* pop up wearing a Viking helmet like Fish used to but... it's unlikely!

(Thinking about it, you're pretty easy to work out too if he wanted to!)

Plus if he didn't want to talk with you and/or Grendel, then saying he thought you were both dicks would gain far more approval and understanding than the current approach ;)

He knows my name already because he strangely tried to twist something from years ago to try and prove a point.

It's getting a bit embarrassing

"You have said Fisher is blameless"
"Quote me saying it"
"You really expect me to find it for you?"

I can vouch for that Mr Trump.. ;)
