Marcus Hall's wife attacked (1 Viewer)

Hope they find the cowardly pricks, it is worrying what their intention was. People don't just get out and whack somebody (let alone a woman) for no reason. That's the scary part, what did they want :(

Just up the road from me. His wife posted it in the local facebook group. There is cctv of the incident from someones house nearby as well.
11:30am in broad daylight with other people around. Mental. My wife jogs down that street daily.

100% looks like an attempted kidnapping from what she has said happened.

Becoming more common for things to be happening in broad daylight. Been a few incidents down the Memorial Park recently as well. The scum are getting more and more confident as they know these things hardly get looked in to so chances of being caught are low.

Even when they do get caught its just a slap on the wrist.

Said before it won't be long before people start taking the law into their own hands.

Just hope they catch them. Another sign of the increasing lawless and criminal behaviour taking place on Britain’s streets.

Scum.

Hope she's ok.

Cuts to Policing and youth projects/schemes hugely to blame.

I do sometimes walk my dog from the fields behind the road where he lives and across around there - it’s pretty alarming

I must say I do go also around Allesley Village at times and it’s almost like a no go zone. Obvious drug addicts, alcoholics and ex cons wandering around - the local shop is robbed virtually every day

Isn't the Allesley hotel in the village housing a few of these undesirables?

As I said on another thread, even when you hand over evidence of the crime and the perpetrator, often they have no intention (manpower) to follow it through (although as this has made the papers, they hopefully will). Undoubtedly it is a lack of resources. Galling for the law abiding.

Sorry if this is in link above (I didn't read it as I find the CT site unreadble) is there any suggestion that she was recognised as the wife of an ex-footballer and thus specifically targeted as someone who may have money?

We viewed a couple of houses round there, I'd never been there before in my life and it definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

This attack was in eastern green though.

I'm really starting to hate this city.
Cov was always a bit ‘lively’ when I lived there 20+ years ago.
My mates who are still there reckon things have got worse. Is this true or are we all just getting older and more scared of everything? or is it just being broadcast more via social media etc?

It’s getting worse though. These are pretty affluent areas and residential - broad day light attacks on these roads is alarming

Don't disagree G. you can understand how gated communities have developed as this sort of thing increases.

Pretty sure that was the case a couple of years ago, when I worked in Hillfields - we had a couple of people referred to the place IIRC (not always undesirables, sometimes 'female 'victims' etc.

I still reckon a lot of it is that things get broadcast more. Back in the old days I'd have no idea if there were 4 teenagers shouting outside of Beryls house at 4:00pm on Saturday, now there's a 100 comment post on facebook full of twitchy curtains.

It does seem to be getting worse though. And as mentioned earlier, it's pretty much every city.

It definitely seems to be getting worse all over the country, hope these bastards are caught quickly, before they strike again.

Apologies, I should have chosen a more desirable word!

Surely there has to be a motive? Seems strange nothing was stolen etc. I've got my ideas though!

I lived in Coventry all my life until I moved to Warwick 2 months ago, for the very reason that Cov was becoming a shit hole (breaks my heart to say it)
I lived less than half a mile from where this attack happened, and it used to be one of the better areas!
It’s taken me a while to get used to living where I am now, as people actually speak to each other and say good morning !!!
I’m sure Warwick has its own issues, but I don’t miss the city one bit.

But mainly shit parenting......and a generation growing up who haven't heard the words "No, you can't do that"
That too, but it's a horrible combination of all of them.

Did anyone clock the description of them?
Amazing how no one has mentioned it don’t you think?
Everyone too shit scared to bring it up, it seems the pc brigade have succeeded in stifling debate on the issue!
