Sorry but last season I was told a playoff push was ridiculous and we should be happy with anything that’s not relegation cos we’d build and this year push for playoffs. Now everyone’s saying mid table!

We’ll sign some forwards and we’ll finish top 8. Put your house on it.

Whatever happened to just watching the team, enjoying the match and seeing where we end up at the end of the season? Betting culture has made us all obsessed with predicting the outcome to the point where we are all depressed before a ball has even been kicked. My optimism for the coming season is the same as it is every season - I hope we aren't shite but I'm realistic enough not to be upset about it of we are shite.

Squad wont stay the same so thread is irrelevant.

MR knows what he's doing. We will be challenging for the play offs, which when you think of the huge disadvantage we have for the foreseeable future, it will be some feat
Really?
Some were asking for a Taxi last season......

Well we all knew we needed a striker we now hopefully have that a bright type player would be ideal now maybe another winger & I feel we can give it a real go.

Changed to playoffs now for me, get a good number 10 and il say we can compete at the top if the squad stays fit

Bright would be great, can't see it happening now though. For me, he could be the difference between going up or not. Suspect we'll be just off the playoffs as we are.

I would have genuinely said mid table based on our attacking options almost exclusively, but now we've signed one player I will revise that to an automatic position.

Although ashamed to admit it, that's not even a joke.

Like last season just miss out on playoffs. Bright in for season loan and I’ll go top 6.

I hate to admit it, but I feel like I was overly positive early on, the recent transfer set backs have hit my confidence quite a bit lol.. Hopefully the lads go out and prove us all wrong

Ewwww have faith lad

I was optimistic at the start of the transfer window but until we get a least a striker and a potential replacement for Bayliss if he goes then I can't see us finishing higher than mid-table.

Start the season well, add the afrementioned additions and we may push for the top 8. Still think we will be shy of the play-offs but willing to be proved wrong.
Well, that's my original prediction...

I was happy with positions higher than last season, but by October I started to believe as we had a few back from injury, Allen, Kelly, Biamou etc.

Anyway, glad I was proved wrong initially.
