Bakayoko in relative terms has to be the worst signing for some time
He’s not the answer that’s for sure.I was prepared to give him more time but I can’t see where he will be anything other third choice.

However well equipped coaches are, fans know what they see. When Walsall fans were pleased to see Baka go i was concerned, equally as I'm happy with the reactions of fans to lose Allen and Godden to us. I've seen nothing yet to convince me Baka will ever make it, poor in the air, poor in the ground and zero positional awareness. The last could be coached, the first two are worrying. I'd happuky bin him off, but disappointed he took Hiwula off rather than pushing him forward as he definitely has goals in him at this level.

Not going to write him off yet but I thought Jobello was poor today.

Max was utter shite when he came on.

Dabo looked better and Mason looked good again. Baka and Hiwula offered fuck all.

Godden looked decent and was unlucky not to score.

Nah, Jobello was decent. The rest I agree with. Special mention to Westbrooke who I thought looked completely inept and not in the slightest up for a battle.

Baka hasn’t progressed at all since he’s came in even with all the coaching etc he looks the part he’s a pansy too weak defenders dream to play against touch him and he folds

Westbrooke and Shipley seemed really suprised at the physicality of Bolton and just weren't up for that. Maybe they thought they'd have a nice day playing triangles around them? Mind you, Baka and Hiwula hardly seemed up for the physicality either.

Trouble is, for the next few games their opponents will know they enter into it physically and will be more prepared for it. We really weren't.

Agreed. The thing is, at least Shipley took up some decent positions. Westbrooke actually did sod all. He looked like a poor mans Runar Normann, but in the middle.

Don't see it yet. Saying that, there was a chance in the 2nd half where him and Godden both went for the same ball so hopefully he's just bedding in...how long that takes is anyones guess.

Kelly was class as well.

Seems to me Fernando that you are the type of fan who wants to see us do badly - so you can get onto the keyboard and talk the team down (in line with your 17th place view 2 games into the new season).

Funny you should say this, because I am going to be the type of fan to say I genuinely believe we will finish in the playoffs - so I can come back on here and keyboard the hell out of those who said we wouldn’t.

Every year I catch couple of warm up games ,get enthused with the signings and am sorely tempted to have a small wager. Play offs or more . Cant remember seeing such a disjointed performance than that of today. What is of concern to me is the look of complete loss on McFads face trying to get a move going . Nearly cost us the game at the end . Im hoping Allen and Godden will create a bit more space . Allen looked excellent at leamington , lots of movement . This is what we need .Too static

Well that was pants! Mason, Kelly and Jobello worth a mention and that’s about it.

Robins acknowledges he was well off

It looked at the time as though he was onside when the ball was played, but only really got one chance to look at it.

Bakayoko one was definitely onside.

Looked like a penalty on McFadzean, another on Baka where the player looked to hold his legs, was too far away to see the one in the first half (and same with the first half disallowed goal). The officiating is dreadful, we should have won anyway but as it is it definitely cost us the win.

Only 2 games into the season or not. If your presented with a schools sixth form team to play you should be beating them even with disallowed goals.

Oggy on CWR is saying we haven't played badly and we should be pushing for the play-offs from what he's seen of today's game.
He is deluded then.

We were poor today, goals disallowed or not we didn't create enough.

Oggy isn't deluded he is just the WRONG person to have on CWR as a commentator, it's to soon after 18 years on the staff, he will still be too close to Mark Robins and the players, so he will have to be careful about what he says live on the radio.

We need someone who says it as it is and doesn't sit on the fence.

I’d think they were irrelevant and we shouldn’t be straw clutching as we should have buried them - it’s pathetic whichever way you look at it

But give the two goals that appear to be onside, the two penalties that we should've had and book/send their players off their players when they should be for atrocious tackling and we do bury them.

I'm really not surprised we didn't win today at all to be honest, obviously incredibly frustrating not to win with the circumstances around Bolton, but we never do easy or straight forward. I actually thought we would win or we would lose today, didn't expect a draw.

Shame we didn't win but move on and try get 3 points next week.
