I’d think they were irrelevant and we shouldn’t be straw clutching as we should have buried them - it’s pathetic whichever way you look at it
Bullshit. How can at least one disallowed goal be ‘irrelevant’ in a 0-0 draw? Would it have made a difference to the outcome if it had been allowed? I get the point, but seriously.

Good
Kelly - Makes us tick. Put his foot in, drove us forward and made some decent passes.
Rose - Assured, composed and unflustered. Was rock solid. Play like that every week and he’s one of the first names on the team sheet.
Mason - Pushed forward and played his part in some nice exchanges.
Jobello - Dynamic, created opportunities, had a go himself and was a real handful. Can see him being a more clinical Luke Thomas.

Bad
Bakayoko - Slow and clumsy. I must say though that those around him didn’t do him any favours. Seemed to be miles away from anyone else at key times. The ball would be played to him and on the few occasions he was able to control it he had no real option available.
Hiwula - Poor positionally. Didn’t look effective out wide. At times he looked like he couldn’t finish his dinner. One of the main factors to the comment above.
McFadzean - Made some very sloppy passes and Rose had to cover for him a few times when they were attacking. To his credit he got better as the game went on.
Westbrooke - Worst I’ve seen him play. Fairly anonymous and when he had the ball he generally gave it away. A bad day at the office for him.

Mixed bag
Shipley - Seen him play better but brought plenty of energy and ran his legs off. Really tried to drive us forward.
Marrosi - Didn’t have a massive amount to do but on the odd occasion he was called upon he did his job well.
Dabo - Made a few errors but looked very nervous. The errors became less frequent as he grew into the game.

That was abject. Not been that frustrated leaving a game for a good while. Felt like a crushing defeat. You feel that Bolton side will be on the end of a spanking most weeks. They won't be able to play with that energy and spirit for long.

That said, trying not to get hysterical. Won't write us off. Bad day at the office. Let's see how we react.

I feel a bit weird agreeing with Tim. Feel a bit funny.

Had time to calm down a bit now.
I think the overreaction is down to being excited for the season, believing today the 3 points were in the bag because of the turmoil Bolton are in and our team struggling to break them down after dominating most of the match. Yes it appears we was robbed by some dodgy decisions despite scoring 3 goals and had they have stood the whole game could have been totally different.
Our midfield was poor today,Kelly was once again trying to hold it together for the poor performances of others around him but even saying that we still had the majority possession.
I guess on another day we would have thumped them but it wasnt to be so after 2 games we have 4 points so a bad day at the office but at least we didnt lose

Sutton Utd, Cambridge Utd, Worcester etc etc etc games we’ve actually lost...and didn’t have 3 goals disallowed.
Christ! It’s the 2nd game of the season.
2 games in, and 2 points dropped.
Which ever way you look at it, that was a fucking shit result. Last seasons problems are still there.

We were shit simple as that ref I think got every off side correct we should of had way to much for a very young side but like I said before the game we love helping teams out in trouble.Baka shit Hiwula should play up front or don't play him Max is not a winger and Godden awful start long season ahead.

He’s clueless and boring as fuck
Come on now don't sit on the fence.

If I or anyone else had the chance to speak to Oggy live on CWR and I have tried, my question to Oggy is this.

Oggy, now that you are no longer an employee of the football club, what are your thoughts on how SISU have run the football club.

If it's no comment, is it because he's signed a non-disclosure agreement !

Or will he just sit on the fence so not to upset anyone .

Cov being poor pre-exists last season.
4 points from the first 2 games, undefeated and no goals conceded. With kastaneer, hyam and Jamie Allen still to come in and Godden to find his feet.
Also talk of two more exciting loans.
We are on fire!!!

Bit harsh saying awful start for Godden. Looked a bit rusty but his movement was good and got into good positions - no doubt he'll score goals. We looked better when him & Max came on, would have preferred Max up front straight away rather than playing on the wing.

Kelly aside in Westbrook and Shippley we have a midfield that will not create goals. Allen will solve this I'm confident of that.

I felt gutted leaving and would like to know if they were all offside or we were robbed by poor refereeing.

If you are a glass half full person. We could have won today and had Southend taken their chances we could have drawn last week. Leaving us still on 4 points.

Need to win the next game in the league and put this behind us.

We certainly need a couple of loans.
I don’t think we can play Shipley and Westbrook in the same midfield,
Hiwula, Baka, and Biamou arn’t capeable at this level, but MR either dosnt see that, or can’t do much about it.
So the pressure is surely going to mount on Allan and Godden.

Yes, I thought that. Got into decent positions and very nearly scored.

I wouldn’t write any of them off this early in the season.
Last week we dominated, without creating chances. I’d say it’s the system and not necessarily the players. Time will tell...

Baka and Hiwula were awful
Godden and Max(when moved centre) were much more dangerous, but by then we were panicking

With a fully fit 1st 11 we are a Right back away from a decent team
We do not however have strength in depth

Didn't think Dabo was bad today (though obviously not really tested)

Bloody hell the bed wetting in here is unbelievable.

There will be plenty of games this season that we should win but don't. There will be plenty we should lose but will win. That's football.

We should have won, but we didnt, big deal. Get a grip of yourselves.
It all depends on whether your happy with mid table mediocrity or not.

Just watched the goals. That second is so blatantly onside it's unreal. The first one I'm not having as offside either.

Happy or realistic? Wonder where our budget is this year in comparison with the other teams. Mid-table do we reckon?
Budget or no budget, if your held by a bunch of schoolboys who’ve only been thrown together half an hour previous, you’ve got massive problems.

Saw enough today to think a team of

Marosi
Dabo Rose McFadzean Mason
Allen Kelly Shipley/Westbrooke
Jobello Godden Kastaneer

Will win more games than it loses. Could do with a No 10 in on loan ideally, but we aren’t a million miles off. Maybe a switch to 442 with Max or Baka up front instead.

Bolton were fired up and had nothing to lose today as well as the good wishes of the crowd and the officials and most of the football world. It was their cup final and we did enough to win the game with fair officials.

Think today was an odd game in many ways, which when combined with the fact its the second game of the season and we played new or returning from injury players — and not even the first choice ones, makes it less concerning in my book.

Sure there were issues, but how many teams in league 1 don’t have issues?
