So then, looks the business if you ask me, specifically looking at his movement, always on the last man looking for the run in behind, was in the correct position for the dissalowed goal, a problem we have with our other forwards.
Always there.. If you know what I mean
Can leap surprisingly high and looks like he will win Alot of flick ons, hopefully jordy jobello and kastaneer pick up on this as we progress.
Did fantastic for our 3rd yesterday, seems to have some pace too, enough to stay ahead of the last defender
Took his goal really well too... Definitely think we have the 20 goal man tbh

Yep has a great jump. He said on the radio he fancies himself in the air so the confidence is there as well.

With a few more games and fitness / sharpness he will be exciting to watch. May not score 45 yard screamers but by being in the right place he is going to get a lot of clinical goals.

I'm putting my neck out here and I'm going to say he will get 25 this season

His movement, positioning etc it would be hard to see how he would not score plenty

Personally very happy with this signing can’t remember the last time we had a striker of his quality as you’ve said great in the air that touch on his chest to bring the ball out of the air and lay it off was class. His running off the ball is brilliant he doesn’t give the defenders a seconds rest.

Great signing without a doubt 20 goals at this level & probably the league above.Godden over McNulty any day of the week for me.

He looks a good player. Exactly what we need. Someone who will just put away the simple chances that we've seemed to have endless trouble putting away. His record throughout his career is good and you can see why so far.

Without a doubt mate Baka & max will be used as subs now.
Think this gives us a genuine plan B for when things aren't clicking, chasing a game, revert to 442 and sling Max/Baka up alongside Godden, Kelly and Allen in CM.

No point in bringing Max on and sticking him on the left

It weren't that long ago, McNulty was his name

He definitely looks just the kind of player we've been lacking since McNulty left,
But knowing our luck he will start on saturday and get stretchered off with a ACL injury!

Yeah agree very similar although I feel Godden has more to his game.Similar pace Godden is better in the air but yes very similar players good find by the club early days but I think we can tell he’s going to do well for us.

From listening and seeing both he and Mcnulty I think Godden has alot more self confidence than Mcnulty. Marc has many good points but Godden knows his strengths. The irony of it all is Godden is possibly our 5th or 6th choice and we landed him because of failures elsewhere, yet he looks like the best striker to wear our shirt in a long time.

Think Robins has seen the merit in having players who have experience at our level and have been consistent. That’s why we’ve got Allen and Godden, and that’s why we’ve been linked with Herbie Kane (who I think we could set up a loan with a view to a permanent with).

That Eisa will turn out to be a flop

I wouldn’t jump the gun, but I could be inclined to agree with you. They’ve taken a gamble on him and let go of a striker who was proven at this level. Did the same thing as McNulty in jumping 2 leagues and didn’t cut it/get a chance in the Championship.

I’m very happy we’ve got Godden, he looks a very decent buy.
