I have just been informed that Marlon King was at the Ricoh arena today, he was also spotted at TGI Fridays having lunch after a meeting with AB.

I think he comes accross quite geniune, he is still fighting his conviction. i am for him signing, have been all along. People can have there opinions thats okay, if people wanna stop coming to the games if he plays there choice............surprised at how many "christians" and non sinners we have though!

Here's a video worth a watch with Marlon King!

I listened to the full interview the other day and if King is trying to clear his name he probably chose the wrong place to get his message out. The interviewer Victoria Derbyshire was basically trying to make him angry and purposely pointing out all the bad points. eg at one point she played him the harsh views of 2 CCFC fans who were basically saying they wouldn't turn up to games if he was in the team and he was worried about taking his young daughter to watch him play (like King was going to run into the stands and attack her like a crazy madman???). Were there no views where CCFC fans were more positive about him because the votes at the fans forum suggest there should have been! I'm not saying King is innocent (or guilty) because I don't know I wasn't there and maybe we will never know and I still don't know where I stand on the whole thing to be honest I'm just going to leave it in the capable hands of Mr. Boothroyd without opinion. Just thought the radio interview wasn't a good place for King because "Victoria" just sounded like someone who was looking for a pay-rise and promotion within the media to be honest and I don't particulary think she cares about football or the issues surrounding King - she was just happy to keep spurting out whatever would get her a pat on the back from her bosses.

Some views on King within football when he was sentenced to prison:

Arsne Wenger and Dave Whelan (Wigan chairman who sacked King when he went to prison)

Can't help but think the Wigan chairman is a bit hypocritical here by saying King should not be allowed to play again seeing as he signed him up when King had been to prison twice already! Suddenly now he's gone to prison while at Wigan he shouldn't be allowed to play again. But there you go...
