He was a fucking skilful player, but if I remember correctly he basically had no knees so couldn’t last for more than about 5 minutes. Remember being excited about him signing.

I've heard it's going to be a signing of Biblical proportions but I'll Adam and Eve it when I see it. Apparently it's a fight between Kane and a lad called Florian Abel but Kane will murder him, even though MR prefers Abel. Robins was asked directly about Herbie Kane in his prematch interview having said he still wants to do a little bit of business and he refused to confirm or deny it. He then said that there's a number of players he's interested in and that the loan market is strange with Premier league and cat 1 academy clubs holding onto their players, especially if they're in the checkatrade but he has 1 specific player that may come to fruition today or tomorrow (spoken on Friday). Not seen the player in question mentioned on here (or anywhere else for that matter). Was on loan elsewhere last year and the fans of that team seemed very happy with him (albeit a level below). Could be an exciting signing but at a guess don't think many will have heard of him.

I have absolutely zero knowledge of who this player is as a caveat before I say anything more, and I am sure there are dozens of midfielders on loan from top level clubs in League 2 last year, but I've just remembered seeing a guy at Cheltenham and had to Google him because of how good he was in our game there called Jacob Maddox who semi-fits the bill. Midfielder on loan from Chelsea in League 2. From a 90 minute game, and a hugely speculative shout, I would be excited if it was him!

I've heard the same as shmmeee but I don't want to give a name.....
a) in case it doesn't happen and/or is wrong.
b) I don't want to break the confidence of the person who has told me.
All I'll say is that the name I've heard is a midfielder (not called Kane), hopefully it'll happen today (think it's waiting on signing a new contract at his parent club), and that I think it'll be a decent signing based on what I've read about him.
