Who is going to play in his place? You've already slated Kastaneer on this thread?
Again, I haven't slated him, I’ve not seen enough of him to start slating him.
I’ve just pointed out he looks overweight and unfit. That is a statement of fact.

As for Hiwula, as I’ve already said, in my opinion we need far more from him, however, if he gets injured we have a problem as we have very little cover,
(We have about a dozen centre backs, but no left wing cover)
I’m still hopeful that another loan might remedy that, especially if Brown’s wages can be off loaded.

Sean Scannell from Bradford could be an option robins likes the player looked good last season very direct can play on either flank

It's been confirmed we won't be signing anybody before the deadline unless we get a significant injury on Saturday that forces our hand.

If you can hear tomorrow, can you let me know tomorrows Euro Millions & then I can buy the club and we will live happily ever after, except Wasps, they'll be evicted by 9am Monday.

in the unlikely event of a massive euro millions win, would anybody actually do a buy out, and dump Wasps off?? I would also make it part of the deal that Fisher and Joy publicly apologised in the middle of the pitch in front of a full stadium.

I'd build a stadium and let the club have full access to it on a peppercorn rent until a decent supporters group could be formed that would take ownership of it.

Scannell's been heavily linked with a move to Blackpool. A lad I'd like to see us go for is Antony Evans from Everton. I'm sure we were linked with him in Jan on loan. I think he's been made available on a free. Suspect he may end up with Joey Barton at Fleetwood though.

Let’s ignore his career history

9 games missed through injury last season. The season before he was in and out the team at Kaiserslautern but seemingly not due to injury. The season before he had an eye injury that kept him out for a while. Before that he hadn't really fully broken into the first team at ADO.

Really? Based on what? He was injured most of pre-season, he's a big unit so it will take him time to get up to speed. He's played the whole of about 150 mins for us so far. Too quick to start slagging him off.

Played 90 minutes in 4 games last year. Missed two months with an injury. Their fans told us he was always unfit. He looked unfit in pre-season but seemed to sharpen up before his injury. We’ll see how often he plays this year.

There comes a point where the squad is the squad. Several new players have barely played. New partnerships have not had time to gel.

Lets save something for January when we might have a better idea of how we need to kick on.

If you dont agree with this can I refer you to the Bury thread?

How well has he been coached and what level of coaching has he had he may Need more intensive work doing no doubt Robins will settle for any laziness if this was to be the case.

Kasteneer Is clearly not match fit but let’s judge him when he is. His goal v Bristol Rovers alone tells me he’s worth the wait.

You were probably right at the time but events changed things
MR said this morning that he was able to do a deal that allowed him to bring in another loan
Probably means we aren't paying the lad's wages

Fair enough Boddy did add the caveat that things may change.
May have something to do with Brown going out?

We have signed Tennai Watson Right Back from Reading on loan until January.
Emergency cover for Pask with Dabo moving over to the left and Watson will slot in on the right.
With Brown going to Scunthorpe I see this as an excellent signing and again shows the clubs intent to challenge again this season.
Good player for Wimbledon last season as far as I can remember.
Fantastic move once again by MR!

also MR resisting numerous offers from L1 & L2 to take Max Biamou on loan - the player wants to stay and fight for his place which is great.
Finances might force his hand however - window closes at 5pm Monday so we will see.
I hope he stays.

Must be on big wages?

I think the overall wage bill might now require that someone moves out on loan - that was the impression I got from the MR comments.
However if nobody moves by 5pm Monday then we stay with what we have.

I think our lovely Max may well be off on loan. Be very surprised if

a it was for more than till January
b a team in league 1 that can wait until he gains full fitness

Still think he has a part to play this season though
