All made up
Only encountered bullshit. I remember a work colleague recommending someone, so I paid her a visit, but it was all crap I felt.
'You come from a family of four people.'
'Ummm....five.
'Ah, yes, four or five.'
It was all very vague and I felt like I had to lead it and she was just guessing, or making stuff up on the spot.
I also got the 'you are going on a long trip soon' nonsense.
Derren Brown has shown what can be done with a bit of suggestion and manipulation.
People will believe/see/hear things that their conscience wants them to see. Like when you buy a new car and then every other car (you never saw before) you see, is your car. It when you get a new particular hobby/interest, somebody on tele or radio talks about it, you now pay interest whereas 2 weeks ago, you would of just ignored it.Based on experience?
I do believe there's a lot of tricksters (mainly all), but there was one woman who said things in an off hand way to me as I passed her (i.e I had not booked a reading etc) that was too specific and accurate.
Few years back I had a massive heart attack. Basically I died and the fantastic doctors shocked me back to life. I saw the white lights and my grandfather was there saying that we are not ready for you yet and pushed me back up. Before it happened I always thought life after death etc was a load of crap. I went to a gypsy in a caravan in the city centre before my heart attack and she told me my grandfather was watching over me.
Had one once, she tried to blag it. Tried to read body language, didn't give anything away and she was just clutching at straws.Based on experience?

Obviously, this depends on if you think death is "lights out", but has anyone had any experiences with Mediums etc and they've said things that couldn't be made up/they could not know through research?

Met this guy once... worth every penny.
For things like the white light, out of body experiences, it’s going to be the sudden surge in brain activity right at the end.
Didn't realise how much ketamine they throw in to people in ressusitation until I was in there with my mum.
Two nurses were doing a stock check of a drugs cabinet near to my mum's bed.
They had ketamine in every form imaginable, I thought to myself at the time, that's the outer body experience explained.
This is an interesting article about DMT, which seems to get released naturally as well

I know people who have taken it recreationally and say that it’s had a majorly positive impact on their lives overall.
Business men's lunch.
Meant to be some mad shit. Never tried it myself.
There's been a lot of proven benefits to LSD. A lot of experimentation with micro dosing.
It's been proven to stop cluster headaches. They're trying to develop a meditional version without the tripping side affects.
I’d recommend Huxley’s Doors of Perception which gives a real insight into the benefits of mescaline and, although I had to get a dictionary out every other word, is a really interesting read.Business men's lunch.

A mate of mine went to Uni in Bristol a few years ago and has done a lot of research into the positive effects of MDMA.
Society has a real perception that all ‘illegal’ drugs are bad but clinical research shows that the right drugs in the right doses have massive physical and mental benefits.
Too be fair I did a good bit of LSD as a teenager and a fair few pills over the years and I haven’t turned out that bad.

Funnily enough I was talking to someone last night who had a massive heart attack a few years back and was technically dead for a few minutes and he said there was nothing and everything just went black and he now doesn't believe in any afterlife.
I would say your type of experience is fairly rare. Maybe you're lucky and going to heaven while the majority of us are damned to an eternity of darkness.

I once bought a shirt sized Medium that did not fit. I needed a Large.Obviously, this depends on if you think death is "lights out", but has anyone had any experiences with Mediums etc and they've said things that couldn't be made up/they could not know through research?
It’s pure bullshit mate. Have a google of “cold reading”

bit rude of her to be playing Kerplunk at the same time as telling your fortuneHad one once, she tried to blag it. Tried to read body language, didn't give anything away and she was just clutching at straws.
