A Fact or two
There never was the remotest chance of any third party forcing CCFC out of business. It simply was not and is not possible to achieve, and something the Trust Board have been aware of for many years. The only organisation that has ever been in a position to do that is SISU...... and they remain in that position but choose not to take that course of action. Sisu have always had an alternative readily available to cover things like ground issues, have always allowed the accounts to be signed off as a going concern (opinion : surely must mean they had a plan ready before their or anyone else's actions took place)
My Opinion
Awful lot of things have become "fact" that are in nothing more than social media jibber jabber that bears little or no relation to any facts. I fail to understand how people slate what is on social media in one breath then trot out equally dubious "facts" as the truth and rely on it with the next. Just to be clear the facts that i put forward on social media are capable of being proven but i welcome people challenging them so long as they can point to proper evidence as to where i am mistaken (yes i can make mistakes). I also do not expect my opinion on the finances, the football, the club etc to be the only one or the one that matters, ...... it is just my opinion and it is allowed to differ to yours without repercussion
The supporters clubs are, we are repeatedly assured non political, they are either that or they are not. It is not possible to be both or to choose when and when not.
I would have thought that the club would want to see unity amongst the fans, and the fans getting behind the team .............. not a clique who suddenly think they have some power picking on individuals. It is strange that the main villain in this (SISU) is grudgingly accepted (lets be honest only because the team is doing well) but others who have done far less damage individually scapegoated.
Fair play to the L&W Supporters club who on this and other matters seem to be doing a good job. They seem to me to strike the right balance.
I suspect someone like Moz will have spent much more money over the years on supporting the team and providing funds for the club to survive than many members of the Supporters Clubs or this forum........ hardly evidence of him want to end the club
