They've probably got nothing new to say either. They've made their position clear. The indemnity is shit, but there was clarity about the legals being an impediment to a deal for a long time. Did Fisher himself refer to the action as 'legals' in the interview?

The company you keep on twitter does not serve you well I’m afraid

To be fair, in the world of golf, it's a sign of respect. Mr Nicklaus, Mr Player etc.

And, he's been given sh*t on here before when he has referred to him as "Robins"

All is going well on the pitch. So who gets wheeled out to get everyone's backs up?
Tim fucking Fisher.
It would bring a massive amount of satisfaction to me, to never hear that idiots voice ever again.

Who tags me, who follows me and who interacts with me has precisely fuck all do with you. It's for this exact reason I removed you as someone who follows me.

If the people who choose to interact with me on twitter displease you so, please do everyone a favour and block me and those others who clearly raise your blood pressure.

To quote Ricky Gervais, "I DON'T WANT FUCKING GUITAR LESSONS".

What’s the point of asking Fisher or anyone from CCFC? The block is at Wasps end, there’s nothing Sisu/CCFC can do at this point (by design but spilt milk and all that), they should have them on to answer questions if they want to talk about it.

Wasps are blocking the new stadium that Tim is committed to building ?

I wonder if Boris could sort the Ricoh situation out as part of his Brexit plans and the back stop problem?

It was you that brought it up. Happily going back to ignoring you now.

Good you can keep buddying up to Ginetta who thought you were a c**t last season

Just on the stadium side of things, the minutes of the supporters forum from 9th September were published earlier here. https://www.ccfc.co.uk/contentasset...a41c398/supporters-forum-minutes-10092019.pdf

Point 1 is interesting, although I'm sure I won't be alone in taking the "several possible sites" thing with a massive pinch of salt. We could be at StA for 3 years.

1. Up-date on future stadium plans and the EFL requirements placed on ground sharing with BCFC The club owner’s preference is for a new stadium and have re-engaged a land agent to identify possible sites. To-date several possible sites have been identified. The EFL have currently given CCFC the ability to play outside of Coventry for up-to three seasons if necessary, but the EFL will allow CCFC to return to Coventry at any point. The Supporters Forum requested potential involvement/input into any future stadium plan. Action: Dave Boddy will raise this with the club owners at the appropriate time.

Is that the one you think is Chris West? Just want to be sure I've got the right conspiracy theory from you.

Ah damn, supposed to be ignoring you........

We’ve tried both Trump (“I’m gonna build a stadium and make the council pay for it!”) and Johnson (“I don’t need a deal, I’ll make better deals with other people”) tactics and neither have worked particularly well.

I’d rather have a good old British fudge, bring on Theresa May so every side is unhappy.

You know full well it’s “james” from Australia whose boycott began when the sisu suck ups dad would not go anymore and he had to buy his own ticket

No it is Wasps who are blocking a return to the Ricoh. Even if we had the land, the plans and a supportive council you could easily be looking at 5 to 10 years for a new stadium project to be completed. During that time would you not prefer to be back in Coventry playing at the Ricoh?

Therefore whatever the long term plan is, and I don't think there's many who are expecting to be visiting a new stadium in Coventry, a return to the Ricoh is required and that is reliant on Wasps.

Fisher can come on and bluster and lets face it Talksport don't know enough to actually put him under pressure, why not get Eastwood on as well. Lets see some pressure on Wasps to change their stance. Its an easy win for them. They don't even need to be seen to be backing down, they can just say they've done it for the fans and they'll get another round of applause.

I don't have an encyclopaedic knowledge of every username and twitter handle like you do as I choose not to spend every waking hour obsessing about who said what. It's James then. Fine. No idea what he's done to you and don't really care if he's called me a c**t either.

Won’t go down well with some, BUT, I do not want Cov to return to the Ricoh.

Understand this means we need to wait for another ground to be built in Cov, but the experience for fans before the game in a city centre, the old school ground with an actual atmosphere (imagine it with our average crowd last season) is awesome for the fans and I truely believe for the players also. I feel we might not have the results we have if we were back at the Ricoh - hate it just soulless.

I know not every fan can make the Brum home games which is a huge problem- I merely hope we stay there while a new ground can be built that is just ours, designed to enhance acoustics, maybe slightly smaller than the Ricoh, and based in Cov city centre......

This is complete cloud cuckoo land I know, but it’s how I feel!

That’s lovey, but realistically you aren’t going to get a ground in the City centre and Sisu aren’t looking at one. You’ll get a smaller Ricoh. Which I’m fine with, I like comfort over nostalgia.

I don’t disagree - in fact the long term solution is almost certainly us playing back at the Ricoh eventually (unfortunately for me!), no way another ground will be built full stop. I’m just day dreaming.

Last time Tim fisher was on talk sport he was asked whether there was likely to be any news on a Ricoh agreement. That was several months ago which prompted me to start a thread "Tim fisher's good news" as he ended the interview stating that in about 3 weeks the supporters would hear something positive regarding a deal with wasps.
The man was, and remains, an out and out liar.

Yeah daydream away. Every time I hear there’s trouble with the Coventry City Centre South project I hope it’ll be scrapped and a new 20k ground will be built.

I'm quite intrigued by Fisher's use of "Mr Robins". In the higher echelons of the legal profession, or perhaps high-ranking consultants in the NHS, I could believe it, but in a football club? Surely Mark, or Mark Robins, would be more normal?
I've worked for many companies in many industries, but I never came across this, except perhaps in the 1960's where a low-level employee might refer to the CEO or Chairman as Mr.

Weird
