I thought we had the biggest pitch outside the prem?
Im sure there will be teams throughout the season in league 1 who play differently to the stereotypical lower league hoof, no doubt we will be drawn a biggy in the cup at round 3 aswell (if we get there) knowing our luck.that's my point we won't be getting west brom's turn up. We should be the team lookin to pass teams off the pitch
I recall Dowie had it extended and then Coleman had it reduced in his second season I think. No where near, it's a lot smaller now than when we first started playing there. Think it was dowie or Coleman had it strunk!Ft

Do agree with your suggestion though
Yep like Barnsley, Palace, Ipswich and so forth. We can dream can't we.No doubt we will be drawn a biggy in the cup at round 3 aswell (if we get there) knowing our luck.
Platt will suit league 1
Ibhope whoever is in charge next season makes the pitch as big as possible, for the following reasons
1) we will be playing teams more used to small pitches
2) if we are the better team and teams come to defend it will be easier to break them down
Would it be legal to grow the grass to about 6 feet high? it would just be funny that all.
