'Cos they are wrecking the club and losing loads of money whilst doing it? It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it..as a massive loss-maker that's getting worse by the season as we drop down the leagues, its worth zilch.

I trust Hoffman because he supports the club, if people don't than thats their prerogative, if this was any other club they'd be supporting Hoffman, but synical Coventry fans just amuse me as always.

I'll trust anybody that Uncle Joe Elliott says is okay.

Hold on....

Paxman. What a load of rubbish you talk. Are you from SISU? He has had an offer turned down back in August. Deleiu then said he was the saviour. Clouting too. Clarke has been faceless (I thought he ran a PR company). If course things have changed. I am amazed Hoff has Amy investors still interested given what the have done to the club. But if he has fair play to him. He said in the interview that he stadium was a key part of it. I think he is stupid - to keep tryiing and putting up with comments from people like you. But what would you prefer? We have a club worth nothing, threats of liquidation, more promises..... I don't expect Hoff to be able to come up with the goods but I hope he can.

Clearly you just want to believe and I can understand that but you need to read my post over again and take a reality check. ;)

Oh good another "I told you so" post ... just what this forum was lacking :D

Business is like this. ... you offer enough for ANYTHING ........ you get it. Nature of the beast.

Hofman is full of it. .. he wants them to simply hand it over. Why would they. Would you? ?

If you had a ferarri that simply was not working properly would you politely sell it for a pound to give another person a go at it. I don't thinkso. . It still has a price doesn't it.

Look. Hofman in my opinion being a banker means we should not trust him at all. Should we trust sisu. No.

Should we trust anyone. .. yes . . Ourselves

We the fans can and should take the club from sisu investors. Start by not giving them your money.

Then club together and buy the club then if you all trust hofman you can partner him and his investors.

Absolutely astonishing. Do you know the difference between the price of something and the value of it? "You offer enough for anything... you get it."

If the investors are serious about taking over they would have forced the issue sooner and we wouldn't be doing this will it/won't it 9 months down the line still.

I'm no expert CCFC but I think that's a little simplistic. I don't want to get embroiled in the debate on this because it's all been said on here before and, frankly, it can't be more than idle speculation. However, in my experience investors only try to force through an acquisition quickly if there is certain value in doing so. Investors like as much certainty as possible as it gives them a (reasonably) reliable basis on which to judge value, consider the upside potential of an acquisition and make properly informed investment decisions. The value of a potential acquisition depends on a wide variety of factors including it's current and expected assets, liabilities, legal compliance, net present values, and a range of other variables. It's a minefield at the best of times which is why there is an entire global industry dedicated to investment due diligence, as we know. Given the uncertainty surrounding all of these variables at ccfc I can sympathise with Gary when he refers to any possible negotiation as a moving target. My hunch is these investors will only be serious about it should the conditions be right. It's not to say they aren't interested.

In this case we are very much in a buyers market. We are currently a massive financial millstone around SISU capitals neck, no income other than match tickets and tranfer money. The ball i believe is very much in SISU's court and I also believe Hoffman will pounce as and when he believes the price and time is right and so he should. It must have been very tempting as a die-hard City fan to push the issue and earlier and save us from the drop but he used his business head not his supporter head. I think if you annalise the article he is telling us all to sit tight and be patient

I think if you analyse it he is saying it finished, his investors have cold feet and there is no real point unless the Ricoh Arena is on the table. So fans for now...game over. Just saying ;)
