O’Hare our best player with a 5 possibly a 6. The rest 3’s and 4’s. Got to be one of the worst performances I’ve seen. On a par with Oxford and Cambridge a few years ago.

Only O’Hare deserves his wages. Kelly looked ok when he was on. Rest awful. Very poor. Gifted them 4 goals

Marosi - 4
Dabo - 4
McFadzean - 2 (worst performance by a defender I think I've ever seen)
Hyam - 4
Mason - 6
Walsh - 5
O'Hare - 6
Shipley - 5
Kastaneer - 5
Godden - 5
Hiwula - 5

The funny thing is, I'm not actually going to get too hung up on this.

It was a dreadful defensive performance, we aren't going to do that every week (especially if McFadz doesn't play).

I think we just put it down as a one off shocker and move on.

Oxford and Cambridge? Not sure what a bad performance has got to do with the boat race.

Have to say the fans were a disgrace today also. Took the kids and had to endure foul mouthed drunk morons all game. 5 flares, 2 fag lighters, half a dozen bottles all thrown on the pitch. People smoking I'm their seats, stealing beer (that's why it was banned at HT) and countless peado type chants. Sorry guys but I didn't enjoy that one bit.

It's like they said about Man City few weeks ago, it's not about how you lose, its about how you win again. Next couple of games will define the rest of the season.

Yep. My lad is just 4 and I’m planning on taking him up next season but it probably won’t be away games.

Heard racial abuse for the first time at a football game today. Some prick decided to shout ‘fuck off you black c**t’ at one of the Rotherham centre backs in the first half.

14 posts so far and only one serious attempt to rate the players. Everyone is only too keen to rate them when we win. I couldn't get there today and a setback of this nature cries out for a constructive critique. Anyone?

struggling to give anyone much credit tbh O’Hare was ok Kastanner looked ok utterly disappointed by that they let the fans & robins down today,

If that’s how we are gonna play if we are pressed high we will be lucky to stay in the top half we went to absolute shit today with their high press we couldn’t deal with it...worrying why we can’t change from Plan A when shit hits the fan you could see it wasn’t working we made subs but kept the system

Marosi - 5
Dabo - 4
McFadzean - 0 (at fault for first 3 goals and sent off, horrow show, becoming a serial sloppy defender)
Hyam - 5
Mason - 6
Walsh - 3 (not strong enough to shield the ball which is vital in that holding role)
O'Hare - 5
Shipley - 4
Kastaneer - 5
Godden - 4
Hiwula - 1 (made very little effort)

We were very sloppy and lightweight today, but ultimately McFadzean horror show cost us the game early on

Well said. Absolutely right. Brought wife for weekend away; she already said she won’t go again to an away game.
Near us a guy with visual impairment and hearing problems. It was his first game away; brought by a mate who really did care for him but at times both looked a little worried.
When we get fined by the league I hope we condemn our ‘fans’ rather than make excuses.

I can't be asked to rate them win, lose or draw. If I feel someone has played well or poorly, I will mention them... it's all arbitrary bullshit really!

Numbers are meaningless after a team performance like that.

Marosi - 4 - gave away pen and should have saved the first. Make some alright saves to save us from getting further embarrassed.

Dabo - 3 - positionally awful and gave the ball away cheaply constantly.

McFadzean - 1 - a truly embarrassing performance.

Hyam - 4 - not as bad as McFadzean but still dreadful.

Mason - 6 - one of the only ones who looked competent

Walsh - 3 - would love to know how many times we was dispossessed or passed the ball straight to the feet of a Rotherham player today.

Shipley - 4 - very meh performance

O’Hare - 6 - actually tried to get things going, not his fault everyone else was incompetent.

Kastaneer - 2 - not sure he pulled anything off all game, constantly out of position and didn’t play for the team at all

Godden - 4 - zero service but hardly impressed on the rare occasion he had the ball

Hiwula - 3 - hardly remember him touching the ball but at least he wasn’t as noticeably bad as Kastaneer.

So poor today it's laughable. In fact our mistakes were so bad you just have to write that off as a shocker and move on. Mcfadz was utter toss today as were most tbh. Shipley blazing it into row z from 4 yards out then trying a di canio volley that nearly went behind him sums it up

Hard to give them numbers because if was so bad.

Mcfadzean, Kastaneer and Dabo the three worst.

All three players have been shocking at times this season.

Baka was woeful when he came on, but still offered more than Hiwula and Kastaneer.

O'Hare was lightyears ahead of them all.

I've got to laugh about the stealing beer. People were offering the staff 20 or 30 quid to serve them one after the embargo was announced.
Win lose or draw we demand you still pour.

I disagree, we are playing ourselves in to trouble EVERY week.
We've conceded 14 league goals this season, of those 14, 9 were gifted away or avoidable.
V Pompey, Marosi took too long on the ball and kicked the ball against an attacker and the Fadz fuck up gifted them 2 goals.
Oxford, the Dabo goal and Kelly sliding in at the death gifted them 2 goals.
Penalty v AFC Wimbledon.
And then 4 goals today that were all avoidable.
Not to mention the 3 or 4 chances we gave them they didnt take, plus the chances we gifted Doncaster that they didnt take.

9 goals of 14 though our own downfall. That's 64%. We cannot continue like that and expect to still be chasing promotion at the end of the season.
We need a plan b. It's ok playing possession football at home when teams come and sit back, but it's clearly not working away from home. 10 of 14 goals conceded away from home. It's clearly not working. We were lucky enough to play well going forward against Pompey and Oxford so managed to come away with a draw. Today was no 'one off' or 'fluke'! We simply cannot play the same brand of football away from home against EVERY opposition. We need to set up each week for the team in front of us. Not just play our football regardless and hope we score a 90min equaliser.

We have been unbeaten all season, so I wouldn't suddenly change it.

However, there is a time and a place. 1-0 down and pissing around with it against a team who have clearly done their homework isn't the time. Plan B Is needed in these situations.

What made it worse was the continuing of it at 2-0 down in the second half!

Let’s be fair. We were 2-0 down against Blackpool and kept playing the same way. I can’t recall anybody moaning about that being unsuccessful.
