That makes no sense to me. Why would you want to make it so that getting drunk becomes way more expensive as you're buying twice as much booze and a load of gear?
They closed the pub early because they wanted all the cov fans in one pub, no bottles were thrown so I'm not sure where that rumour startedAbsolute embarrassment today. The sooner these muppets who have the urge to throw bottles fuck off the better. Same for those who thought chucking smoke bombs on the pitch was acceptable. This “we do what we want” attitude is a disgrace. Brought a non-Cov fan along today who didn’t realise we had a reputation for trouble, but as soon as we get to Rotherham you see police horses and on speaking to the police they had to close a pub early because City fans had been throwing bottles. He was shocked at the state of our support and as a result I ain’t bothering with an away game for a while off the back of today.
Burton away last season as well, fans smoking and sniffing coke in the toilets. But the worst thing was people pissing on the floor because they couldn’t wait another minute to get to urinals. Neanderthal cunts.
Jesus we’ve got a doctor on the thread!Drinking beer in the late morning/early afternoon can cause drowsiness after the initial alcohol buzz has worn off, so coking yourself up means you mask any of those side effects and be buzzing for the whole game and any "action" that might happen outside of the ground afterwards.
It's a social thing no discipline from parents and no police on the streets people think they can do what they want.Nonsense, Coventry fans were horrendous during the early 2000s, no sisu, no St andrews
In the last few days I've seen Southampton fans, Tottenham fans, bayern fans, pompey fans all misbehave... Its not just a Coventry thing
Its a football problem, been happening for what... 50 years or more now

Wouldn't be like South Yorkshire Police to not tell lies about football fansAs I said, one of the police outside the Rhino told me. I’d like to think he was telling the truth but if you know that’s not the case then fair enough.
You are part of the problem you utter thundercunt.bye bye then you soft touch. Let the morons chase you away.

And looking at your last post on this thread, I'm unsure on which side of this you fall in to?!?!99% of city’s support is class. Don’t let 1% chase you away.
You are part of the problem you utter thundercunt.

He's right though. My mate does it because he can't handle drinking as he gets sleepy.Jesus we’ve got a doctor on the thread!
How did you know they were the legion did they have Beau Geste with them ?genuine question, did any one actually see any violence or anyone being intimidated?
I was in the pub where all the legion were and yes they were all openly sniffing coke but the atmosphere was OK and I didn't see any trouble or sense a bad atmosphere.
You've just said on your 2nd post above that you had your son with you.genuine question, did any one actually see any violence or anyone being intimidated?

Isn't that bad enough that they were all 'openly sniffing coke'?

Someone has mentioned Racism on Twitter.
Absolutely fucking appalled if this true.
Not condoning bottle and flare throwing but racism in the guise of being a Coventry City fan is just not on.
We need to stamp this shit out quickly.

I'm not saying that's acceptable behavior, and appreciate some people might find it intimidating, especially if they have younger kids with them.
But just saying I didn't see any violence or an atmosphere of menace. And again, there may have been incidents though I personally didn't see them.
I only violence among our own supporters not between RUFC fans and us. As we got into the ground two fans were scrapping over seats then half way through the first half towards the top of the stand another 2 were pushing each other and one almost stacked it down the stairs before they were split up. Two incidents in a small block is too many.

wasn't the trouble at SA over people in each others seats? How fucking difficult can it be to go to the seat on your ticket?
Pretty sure there will be trouble on Sunday.
Happens every away game, it’s painful.
Sunday?
Tranmere. They do have a bit of a rep.
Oh....don’t ever recall us having bother with them before?
think there was in the league(?) cup when we played them years ago.
I know there's always trouble on the odd occasion they play one of the Liverpool teams though I'd imagine that's par for the course due to local hostilities.
I don’t think many of the ‘lads’ go over to the home games....
that doesn't stop iidiots in the opposing fans starting on people though as Blackpool demonstrated.
